From Earth to the Heavens

"Come on girls, Winx Believiex!" shouted our leader; Bloom. Just as we they instructed they began to transform from ordinary girls to powerful fairies. I watch as Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Aisha transform. I watch from the ground as their true forms are shown. As the light becomes stronger I shield my eyes, when I reopen them I see my friends in the sky, wings and all.

"You ready Roxy?" Stella asks me.

I smiled and close my eyes, then I become unsure of weather to say 'Winx' or not. With a breath I blurt out "Roxy transform!" Just as the words leave my mouth I began to feel a change within myself, a magical light washes over me, and I began feel many things, but powerful is the strongest one. Words cannot describe how I feel as I transform, it is only a feeling one could know if they have transformed themselves.

As I open my eyes I am no longer am I just Roxy the girl from Earth, but Roxy the fairy of animals, the princess of the Earth fairies. Most importantly, I am a member of the Winx Club.

My feet touch the Earth soil for the final time in who knows how long, I smile as I look towards rest of the club. Then my happiness fades slightly as I realize it is now time for my final goodbye to my father, mother, my home and life I knew so well.

I tightly hug them and promise to call as soon as I arrive at Alfea. The hug me back and say that they love me; this brings tears to my eyes.

I feel a soft hand on my shoulder; I see that it is Bloom. She is letting me know it is time to leave. Even though I don't want to let go, I know I must. I hug my parents one last time and follow Bloom back to the rest of the group.

"We better get moving girls, Alfea is awaiting us." Tecna reminded the group as she put away her handheld computer.

"I can't wait to get back," Aisha adds in a cheerful voice. But I know that the cheerfulness is only there to mask the pain she is baring, as she thinks about the one she lost.

"Let's go!" shouts Stella as she jumps high into the air and begins to sourer, one by one we all follow her lead. But before I join the club I look back one final time to see Morgana and Klaus waving goodbye, I wave back.

"Are you coming Roxy?" Musa asks, her hands are on her hips and she seems somewhat annoyed. I nod my head, and allow myself to fly alongside them.

The seven of us fly all across the city for the final time, as we do the citizens look up at us. They point at us and smile. Some even cheer our name. Encouraged by the cheering, Bloom and Stella do a few tricks in the air; they are both very proud of what we have become. And I honestly cannot blame them; we were victorious in our mission to get Earthlings to believe in magic. We had done our job, now it was up to the Earth fairies to keep it up and grow the believeix energy.

I watch my friends as the slow down; I see that we aren't very far from the portal mom made. Out of the corner of her eye Bloom spots me. She smiles and makes a hand gesture for me to fly closer to her and the rest of the club.

I smile with great pride as I accept her offer. The portal becomes closer and closer, soon the friends enter it and disappear. Now it is my turn to enter, with a deep breath I follow Musa inside of it. I am now on officially my way towards Alfea, my fate- the rest of my life. I tilt my head up and smile widely, as the chapter comes to a close and a new one begins at this time, the rest of my life truly begins.

Now I feel alive.
