Alice stared at herself in the mirror her mother and friends all bustling about her. This was it; the day that she had been waiting for their entire relationship. In a half hour she was trading her Father's name for Frank's.

And she wasn't anywhere near ready.

Frank paced nervously inside the room his mother had pushed him into when they got to the pavilion. This was it; the day he had been waiting for his entire life. The day that he married the only girl he could ever see. In half an hour he would be giving his name to Alice.

And he was more than ready.

Alice watched as her arms pulled the shirt she was wearing over her head, she watched as Doe helped hook the back of her dress together. It still felt like a very out of body experience. Like it wasn't happening to her, it couldn't be happening to her.

She was getting married.

Frank pulled on his vest over what still was Alice's favorite shirt of his. He smiled at himself in the mirror, remembering Alice walking around in nothing but this shirt just last week. They had come home from a long night of missions and she said she felt more comfortable in his clothes than her own.

He was marrying the love of his life.

Alice took a deep breath and turned to face the room full of women. She had a cloud white strapless dress that hung down around her knees and a blue head band sat in her hair. She smiled and couldn't believe her mother had convinced her to invite this many people.

She thought she was going to be sick.

If it had been up to him, Frank thought that this wedding would have been a small affair. Just the two of them at a courthouse, they might not have even told the others. Just worn their rings around the office and shared knowing glances.

But of course it wasn't up to him.

Lining up with the rest of the bridal party she danced around on her tip toes, having made a last minute decision to throw her heels in the nearest bin and go barefoot, she took a couple of deep breaths and linked arms with her father and waited for her turn to walk down the aisle.

She couldn't wait to see his smile.

Standing at the end of what could possibly have been the longest aisle Frank had ever seen, he kept his eyes trained on the door. The music started and the bridesmaids and groomsmen began to make their way down the aisle, followed a moment later by the flower girl.

He just wanted to see her.

Finally Alice made her way to the doors, she was certain that the only reason she was still upright was the constant pressure of her Dad's arm on her own. She heard everyone in the room stand, but she could only see Frank. Grinning she stuck her tongue out at him.

She was getting married to the love of her life.

It became difficult for Frank to breathe. He couldn't believe he was lucky enough to marry the most beautiful girl in the world. He grinned at her, and couldn't help but laugh in relief when she stuck her tongue out at him. They were going to be fine.

He loved her so much.
