Sketchbook
Just a short fanfic about Gibbs, Matt and Holly finding Kate's sketchbook.
"She's gone Gibbs, I don't think Kate will mind," Ziva told him. "I found this in the desk and I have a feeling she would want you to have it."
"Thanks Ziva," replied Gibbs. He took the sketchbook just as Holly and Matt came over.
"See you in the morning," she said.
"Girls, come look at this," Gibbs said. The first page held a picture of Tony on the phone. The next was McGee, then Abby in a skull headband. Matt saw a sketch of her in a white vest and with a smile on her face. She began to cry. Next came Ducky, then Holly. Holly was looking as she had in the Isolation Room, cute pyjamas and all.
"I miss her daddy," Holly cuddled up to the two girls as he looked at the last picture. It was of Gibbs himself.
"Goodbye Kate," he sighed, switching off his light.
I know it was very short but I had to include that scene because it is just so touching and was the first NCIS scene to make me cry.
