The Grand Journey One sunny morning, Ethos laid silently on the beach. "Such a calm day." Ethos thought to himself while looking out into the distance seeing what appears to be a boat. "Hey." shouted the mysterious man on the boat. "What are you doing here?" Ethos seemed worried not knowing of this man was of good or evil. "I wad just resting here." Ethos replied worried of the consequences that may lie ahead. "Don't worry. I don't mean you any harm. I'm sorry, we haven't introduced ourselves yet. My name is Wanchester." "Well in that case, my name is Ethos. I live on this island." "It sure is big." replied Wanchester in a shocked tone. "I'm here because I was looking for a place to stay. You know, I fell into this dimension but I can't really remember how." Ethos seemed a little concerned about Wanchester's dimension jumping. "Do you remember what happened before?" Wanchester was trying to remember what happened as he walked along the sandy path. "Well, I fell into this world and I saw this chest and in it was a map, steak, wood, a sword and leather. There was also this mysterious book titled 'For Wanchester' in the chest as well." Ethos was shocked as he had received a book called 'For Ethos'. "May I have a look at this book?" replied Ethos. Wanchester gave the book to Ethos. "No way! This book was written by the same person who wrote mine! And it tells us to go to this very island. The last page says 'Those who are able to connect the two swords, will be worthy.' I wonder what that means." Ethos and Wanchester's swords shone brightly and turned into two gems. A ruby and a sapphire. "Well Ethos, your book has a blue ribbon so I guess you can have the sapphire and I can get the ruby because my ribbon is red." The books shone brightly and there was a gap to put the gems in. "You see how smart I am, I told you the gems would match with the ribbon colours" Wanchester said excitedly. "It's getting dark, I'll make you to my house. If you see any sheep, tell me." Ethos escorted Wanchester to his house and made him a bed. "Well, today has been packed with adventure, I wonder what awaits us tomorrow. Good night and I'll see you tomorrow."
