I spontaneously felt the need for some Shelos. Sooo...Here we are! Hm, and this ficcie is somewhat fluffy, so I'm reccomending the fluff-master herself--Lil-Samuu. Go read her fics! nn

A small bell jangled in the night, cheerfully breaking the silence as everyone slept. It was a beautiful sound, eloquent in it's own simplicity. "Corrine…" A thickly accented voice broke the jangling, a voice full of sorrow.
"Corrine."
Shallow, quick paced breathing was heard as a sob emitted from the assassin's throat.
"Corrine."
Why did he do that to her? Didn't he know that he was her family, all that she has? Didn't he realize that she didn't just want him, that she loved him?
"Corrine, why did you go? Why did you try to do that…I knew it was a bad idea. I can't feel without you, Corinne…"
"But you did it." A soft voice was heard from behind her as she whipped her head around, strands of hair hanging over her face.
"Hey, hey, hey, calm down, my hunnie!" Zelos sat down beside her, a serious look upon his face despite his light hearted words. She didn't even bother to respond hotly to him, "I'M NOT YOUR HUNNIE!"
…Never did Zelos think that he'd miss those words.
"What do you want, Zelos." Her voice was icy now, such a contrast to the voice that was so thick with sorrow just a moment ago.
"Ouch, hunnie. That's cold. What're you doin' up?" He tried to keep his voice lighthearted, ignoring the tears streaming down her cheeks silently as she struggled to stay strong. "Hunnie, hunnie, hunnie…You do realize that your precious little pet sacrificed himself for you so you could be happy, don't cha?"
Silence.
"Hunnie, you realize that you'll be wasting Corrine's life, and we have a journey to get through so you better stop crying otherwise you'll drag everyone down."
"I won't drag everyone down!" Sheena cried loudly, her face twisting into anger as she gave him a swift slap.
"Ah. That stung."
"It was meant to do more than sting." Sheena turned around defiantly, angry at Zelos.
"Harsh, hun, harsh. But, hey, that's the Sheena I know, eh?" A soft chuckle was heard as some dirt crunched beneath his feet.
Sheena span her head around, realizing what Zelos had done, but he was already gone. She clung onto Corrine's bell, and whispered something softly, "You'll forever be in my heart Corrine…But now, I know that you haven't left me all alone."
