The Hat

This was written as a short drama assignment. Probably qualifies as a crack drabble. Enjoy. Disclaimer: I don't own Indiana Jones. That would be George Lucas, and if I were him, I wouldn't be writing fanfiction. Rated K plus for comical violence.

Indy: "Look kid, just give it back to me."

Mario: "Why do you need it?"

Indy: "I just do, okay?"

Mario: "Look, my price stands. I want one hundred dollars for the hat."

Indy: "But you stole it!"

Mario: "No, I found it. It isn't my fault you always lose it."

Indy: "Why you little-"

Indy reaches for his gun, but it isn't there.

Mario: "Looking for this?"

Mario pulls out the gun

Mario: "That will be another hundred."

Indy: "Why are you doing this?"

Mario: "Because if I pull this off, I'll have enough money to buy an I-pod. So do we have a deal."

Indy thinks for a moment, then nods.

Indy: "Fine."

He reaches into his pocket and pulls out 10 twenties. He gives them to Mario. Mario smiles, then hands the gun and hat back to Indy. Indy smiles, puts the hat on, and points the gun at Mario.

Indy: "Now, give me back my money."

Mario: "Aw crap."
