Yes, shockingly enough, this is NOT a Naruto story. Not is it a story at all. It's a challenge (my first actually). This is just something that I thought of as I was watching Kamen Rider Zi-O.
Now, Kamen Rider is my MOST favorite show EVER! I've been watching it from Den-O to current, and I LOVE IT!
For those of you who may not know, Kamen Rider is a franchise from Japan, a "Tokusatsu" meaning "special filming". It has a LONG history, dating all the way back to 1971. Now, knowing you will google it, let me just say...
IT IS NOT POWER RANGERS!
In fact, Kamen Rider is what gave birth to Power Rangers. It inspired the japan franchise, Super Sentai, which later gave birth to Power Rangers.
It's an awesome franchise, and I love it.
Anyway, the challenge...
The main thing I love about Kamen Riders, is the messages they give about heroism and bravery, and the characters are inspiring. Now, these heroes, Kamen Riders, apart from a few, are all human. No alien powers or special abilities with some exceptions, just technology and weapons. They are basically Batman and Iron man.
Minus the money and broading darkness.
If you want a deeper view on what Kamen Riders is, check out Marcosatsu on Youtube, as he gives some info on Kamrn Riders and Super Sentai. You can also search "Introduction to Tokusatsu Marcosatsu" on Youtube if it helps learn the basics.
I also recommend going to Tokusatsu2 Soul's Youtube Channel, as they make FANTASTIC Music Videos on tokusatsu shows, so you can have a glimps on what Tokusatsu brings.
ANYWAY! THE CHALLENGE!
Basically, the challenge is that groups of heroes are given the opportunity to watch heroes from "another plane of existance", human with no superpowers or metagenes, risking their lives every day to defend the innocent from monsters. The reason, for both the challenge, and having them watch, is because heroes nowadays are more serious and about status. Show them...no REMIND them, what being a hero is REALLY about.
The show they watch can either be old times (Showa era) or modern (Heisei) starting with Kamen Rider Kuuga. My suggestion, would maybe be Kamen RidersGaim as while it starts out light, becomes more serious and impactful as it goes on. You can also do Kamen Rider Build. But it's your choice on which one to use.
As for the heroes, again it's your choice. You can do Avengers, Justice League, Young Justice, etc.
