Chapter Once
How could he have cheated on me. Maybe He was "The Onc" and he was the only person I have ever loved. These were the thoughts that were going through Monica Geller's mind when she had found out that her boyfriend Chandler cheated on her. She had never expected this to happen her and Chandler were the most loving and passionate relationship that she had ever been in. The worst part about all this is that the person that he kissed was her best friend Rachel. Rachel of all people. The girl who was so hurt that Ross had cheated on her. This is the kind of thing that happens in soap operas not things that happened in real life. All Monica wanted to do was go in her room and just sit there for the rest f her life. She never wanted to see either of them again she was just to hurt. She loved them both dearly and she could not stand being mad at them but she was just to hurt by the past events. She did not know what do with her life anymore. Just three days ago she was so happy and now her life was just falling apart. She know what she had to do, she had to get away from this place. She had to leave New York and start her life completely over. That is what she decided to do. IT was a night in December, her boyfriend, chandler, was sleeping on the coach because of what he did and of course, Monica didn't want to be anywhere near him. So she packed-up all of her belongings and left. When she was going through all of her things she took any thing that reminded her of Chandler or Rachel and through them all over they apartment as if she was killing them like she was doing in her head. She was ready to leave and kissed chandler on the forehead he flinched but them went back to sleep. She did not leave a note or anything she just left. She could not say good-bye to Joey, Phoebe or Ross because they would want to know where she was going and she could not risk Chandler and Rachel finding out where she was going. She left the apartment without any evidence or witness who knew where she was going.
Monica was now homeless on the streets with no job and only the money she had in the bank account. Which was enough to survive. She new she had to get very far away, so she went into a hotel where she was going to stay. When she got to the hotel, she called the airport. She ordered a plane ticket to London and was leaving the next morning. When she arrived at the airport, all she could think of is her life in New York. She had experienced the best years of her life here. They all played through her head like a movie. She thought of laughing and crying with the whole gang. She thought of past boyfriends who she thought she had loved. Then suddenly she broke down into tears and anger she thought of her wonderful relationship with chandler and the her friendship with Rachel. She cried herself to sleep that night. Well, she did not cry herself to sleep she stayed up all night crying. She kept picturing Rachel and Chandler together. She then got up and got ready to go to the airport. She decided not to look back and the past and look to the future. She had spent a whole night crying over Chandler it was time for her to think about being in a relationship where there was no cheating what so ever. On the way to the airport, she thought of her brother and phoebe and Joey and how they might be upset, but they did not and that they didn't deserve. She had to do what she had to do though. She got and the plane and began a new chapter in her life.
