AN: the closest I've come to a true drabble I believe. I'm working up prompts at the moment just to keep myself writing while stories such as The Same Coin are refusing to play nice. The Prompt for this story was 'Faded Blue' I hope you enjoy.
Disclaimer: I don't own the characters from Supernatural
Nothing Left to Do
He drank to numb the pain; though it did little to help. He'd searched for answers but found nothing. He'd dealt his soul; tossed it into the pot with nothing but junk in his hand. He was a man with nothing to loose. He'd already lost it all.
Sam Winchester no longer saw the world in the same light. Dean was gone. And with him went the world Sam had known. He saw it all in faded blue; the light just before dawn when it seemed the day would never come. Sam didn't want it to; each day was another reminder of what he'd lost. The brother he couldn't save.
And so he drank, to numb the pain.
Thanks for Reading!
