CH-1 The Story Of Her Last Normal Days.

Eliona was just another girl in the world, simple and normal. She was just like the most of us are- average looking, usually sleepy in the history class, hateful to maths, short tempered- countless other similarities. This is the story of her weird yet interesting life...

That day, she fed her pet snake Sherry in the morning and soon got ready for school. Her mother had prepared her some sandwiches and pancakes for breakfast, which she hurriedly swallowed and rushed for school. The sun was too sharp for her strange grey eyes to tolerate, so she had to narrowed her eyes to tiny slits and drive her bicycle through the almost empty road. She brought up a hand to the top of her forehead to shove away a stray strand of her mahogany hair, and kept it there like a shade to stop the sun from burning her eyes.

Finally, she reached her destination and she knew she would probably be late. As a matter of fact, she wasn't. She was 'five minutes early', which was a great accomplishment for her and a surprise to her classmates.

She realized that it did not affect anything in the whole day, except that she got a few minutes to gossip with her friends. She almost fell asleep in the history class, which was her least favorite subject. There was nothing new that day except that they had to go on a field trip to some random botanical garden to study their books off. Eliona wasn't so excited about it, but she thought that maybe it would add a bit more efforts to bring her grades up. She took one of the pamphlets which her teacher was distributing, to get it signed from her mother. She drove back home so fast that her eyes were dry from the wind, and soon watering, almost blinding her vision. She finally reached home, panting and tired of paddling.

"Mom, I'm home!", she called out, opening the door. There was no reply. She shut the door and threw the bag on the couch.

"Mom? I'm hungry!", She called out once again.

"I'll be right there honey!", a voice replied from upstairs.

Eliona climbed up the stairs which lead to her room, and saw her mother standing there, furiously scrubbing a photo frame with a cloth. The later stopped scrubbing as soon as she saw her daughter all soaked in sweat, looking exhausted and pale.

"What do you wanna eat?", her mother asked, casting a disgusted look at her.

"Anything but those pancakes", she replied clumsily and went to her room to have a shower and change. After several minutes, she was done with all the refreshing and ready to eat. She was half-way downstairs when she heard her mother call for her , and smelled the delicious flavors. Her moth and her belly made her move faster and she suddenly attacked the food.

She had eaten half her meal, when she recalled that she had a form to get signed.

"Mom, there's a field trip,"she said chewing in her sandwich.
