Sometimes I feel all alone
And shivering in the dark
I feel like somehow I lost my way
And in the night I'm looking for the light of day
But then I look up and see
A little bit of blue
I see a light that shines so bright
Father that light is You
To all who think
They lost their way
And it's too late for them now
The Father will bring you
Back into the fold somehow
We may feel like we've lost Him
But He never loses us
He never makes us feel ashamed
He never makes a fuss
The darkness of the night
May seem so far from day
But the Father is always there
He will always lead the way
When you cry
He dries your eyes
When you are happy He rejoices
He wants the best for everyone
And wants us to make the right choices
If you feel like your spirit has left you
It hasn't gone anywhere
It is still trying to draw you to the Father
And holding you very near
I had a friend once
A long time ago
She gave me wings to let me fly
And then she let me go
She knew I had to take flight
She did all she could do
The way she ended it wasn't right
But her love from the Father was true
Remember the Father deals with us
Remember the Father deals with us
As individuals not a group
He sees our needs and our desires
And doesn't put is through the same loop
Many people they have fear
And don't know what to do
They hold back because they're scared
That they won't make it through
It sometimes seems like it will be
To much to get it right
But The Father knows
From our head to our toes
How to turn things alright.
He whispers "You will be alright"
It's not just a cliche
You find that it is easy
Because He's by your side day by day.
He never will forsake you
Though you may abandon Him
He will bring you back
He doesn't see your sin
One day a child was praying
And He didn't know why He was alone
The Father whispered 'it's alright'
"You'll never be far from loves home"
"For when I look at YOU
"The only thing I see
"Is the child I love so dear"
And He says the same thing to you and me
