Chaper 1: Time.
Light lifted his cigarette to his mouth as he moved to the back of his house.
Closing his eyes he thought of how long it had been since he last saw his friend L.
-29 days 2 hours and 14 minutes.-
Today was the day he finally got to see him. The Kira case had been
at a stand still for a while and L finally asked to see him.
He flicked his cigrette to the ground and looked to the sky.
-I hope he didn't forget about me-
He looked at his watch -4:15- He was fifteen minutes late.
Or maybe he was just to frustrated to miss even a second with his secret crush.
He walked around the front of his house to see a red car pull in his drive way.
Light smiled inside as the raven stepped out of the car.
"Hey, long time no see L." Light greeted as he ushered the new arrival into his house.
"Same to you Light-kun. It's been a while"
"29 days 2 hours and 20 minutes"
"You've been keeping count?" he asked surprised.
"Of course. I've missed you." Light commented with a smile as he walked back to his
bedroom to grab his bag. He turned to his bed room door to find the raven in the way.
"I've missed you to Light." He said meeting the auburn brown eyes of the teen. Light
looked back into the black ores of the gentlemen in front of him, wishing he could make
words form but nothing seemed to come to mind, all he could do is stare at him.
He never heard L say such a thing.
-He missed me.-

A/N: I'm sorry this is so short but its a thought in progress that actually came
to mind when I was sitting on my back porch having a cigarette.
