Ash and Link's Misadventures
Chapter One
-The Murder-
Note: Before you guys read this, I want you to know that whatever happens, it is okay to hate a character and want to rip him to shreds. I know that sounds weird, but when writing the end of this I almost completely changed the story in order to prevent what's to come. But I couldn't change it because it was part of the plot that needed to happen in order to progress the story. Please don't hate me for this but you'll understand when you read this. Anyways, please follow the story and review. All criticism is allowed, as long as it is constructive and will benefit the story. Also, I tried adding a modern day factor to this to make it better so yeah.
…Late Tuesday Night, 6:00 P.M…
"Ash! You're late!" Yelled Misty, as she ran over to Ash to greet him.
"Sorry, Misty, my legs have been really sore lately…" Started Ash. He had the cheesiest smile on his face. Misty could see right through his lies. She smiled.
"Oh, shut up…" Misty said as she gave Ash a kiss, "You're excuses are the worst."
Ash smiled and kissed her back, enjoying every minute of it. He laughed as their lips parted.
"Well if that's what I get when I'm late then…" Ash joked.
Misty rolled her eyes and slapped him softly on the cheek.
"Come on, I have something to show you!" Misty said, excited.
Misty took Ash's hand and led him around the park they were in, showing him the beautiful flowers and fountains. They walked around for hours and studied the beautiful plants and stopping a few times to play around with some friendly Pokémon.
"Wow! Everything is so pretty here!" Misty said with a smile on her face.
"What, are you high? This is so lame…" Ash said, grinning. He laughed.
"Oh, shut up, loser…" Misty said. She gave Ash another kiss and they continued their date.
…
Meanwhile, while everything was going great and PG rated for Ash and Misty, another amateur boy was sitting butt naked on his couch watching TV and playing on his phone. While he was binge watching Anime shows, his phone was blowing up with Snapchat and Instagram notifications. Who was this worse than average 22 year old boy? His name was Link. Once he had been saving his girlfriend from a jerk named Ganon, but now he was living the life of a retired hero, which for him was a peaceful one.
"Aaaah, good old Diet Coke…" Link said, taking a sip from his soda. He set the soda down on the coffee table in front of him and continued playing on his phone. He checked his Instagram for posts from his friends. He found a post from Zelda, his GF.
It was a picture of Zelda playing in her garden with the caption: Playing in the Garden! What a beautiful day!
"So cheesy…" Link said, "…and yet so pretty."
Link started typing a comment: So pretty! See you soon, honey!
"Ahhh, what a lucky dude I am…" said Link.
Link stood up and went to his room, changing into some decent green clothes, as he usually did.
…
Ash Ketchum took his keys from his pocket and opened the door to his house, which he just recently bought with the money he got from his job, which was delivering packages for the company he worked for: AIMazon.
He walked into the house and sat down on his couch, picking up his remote and turning on the TV. About halfway through the show, Ash heard noises coming from the kitchen. He got up and walked into the kitchen to see his friend Link searching through his fridge.
"What are you doing here?" Ash asked.
"Getting' some grub, my dude!" Link said.
"You're drunk, aren't you?" Ash asked.
"Maybe…" Link said.
"Get out." Ash demanded.
"What! I thought we were bros!" Link laughed.
"Not after what you did…" Ash said.
"What do you mean?" Link grinned.
"You know what you did." Ash said, "Have you told Zelda yet?"
"No…" Link said, more serious now, "Back then I was still with Saria, and telling her didn't go too well…"
"Well…" Ash said, "If you're trying to do better now, then tell Zelda…and come back when you're done…"
"Fine…" Link said, walking towards the door and leaving.
"What a loser…" Ash said.
…
Pikachu sat down in his throne, which was golden and shiny. He looked down at all the Pokemon bowing before him. He held up his staff and smiled. His fur shook as he threw down his staff and watched as all the creatures fought over it. He smiled as they each ripped each other to pieces. He frowned as he realized how evil this was.
"Pika!" He yelled.
Translation: Stop!
The Pokemon stopped fighting and looked up at him.
Then a female Pikachu stepped out from the crowd and walked up to him.
"Pika Pi…" said the female Pikachu.
Translation: Hello, handsome…
Pikachu smiled.
"Pika Pi Chu!" She said as Pikachu stared at her, entranced.
Translation: Pikachu, wake up!
"Pi?" Pikachu asked.
Translation: What?
Suddenly Pikachu awoke from his dream to see Ash looking down at him sleeping on his beanbag. Ash smiled.
"It's like 7:00 AM, it's time to wake up…" Ash said.
"Pika…" Pikachu frowned.
Translation: Crap…
…
Saria looked out her bedroom window, waiting for her boyfriend Luke to arrive. He had promised to meet at her house before lunch so the two can go on a date. He had told her not to eat because he had a feast planned for her. So she hadn't even eaten breakfast that day. She was willing to starve herself for him.
Then his truck arrived and pulled into the driveway. Saria grinned and ran out to his truck to greet him.
"Luke!" She screamed in excitement.
"My darling Saria!" Luke said.
Luke walked towards Saria. She smiled as she admired his beauty. He had slick black hair and shining blue eyes. He had medium size perfect muscles that he'd use to grasp Saria as he kissed her and gently brushed his fingers through her hair, as he was doing now.
"I love you, Luke…" Saria said.
"I love you too, darling…" Luke said.
He rubbed his hands on her hips as he let her tongue slide into his mouth as they kissed even more. She grabbed on to his back and pulled him closer.
"Come, my love, let us eat…" Luke said.
"Oh, good, I'm starving…" Saria said, relieved.
"So you made sure not to eat today, right?" Luke asked.
"Yes, why?" Saria asked.
"No reason." Luke said as he kissed her again.
"So…where is this feast?" Saria asked, practically drooling.
"Patience…Saria, come to my truck and I shall take you there!" Luke said.
"Okay, okay…" Saria said as she got in the truck.
Luke started the truck and started driving.
"So…where are we going?" Saria asked.
"I told you…to a feast!" Luke said.
"Yeah, I'm just nervous…" Saria said.
"Why?" Luke asked.
"It's just…I don't have a good feeling about this…" Saria said.
"Well, it will be amazing…" Luke assured her.
"Okay…I guess." Saria sighed.
"Well, maybe you're right…" Luke said.
"What do you mean?" Saria asked.
"When people have those feelings…it might be something more than that…" Luke said, "Like, premonitions or something…visions of what to come…"
"So you mean something bad might happen?" Saria asked, anxious.
"I guess…" Luke said, "So…do you like trees?"
"What?" Saria said.
Luke swerved the truck over and drove forward into a park.
"What are you doing?!" Saria screamed as Luke slammed straight into a tree, which threw Saria through the window and impaling her on a branch.
"I didn't like life anyways…" Luke said as he looked down at the pieces of glass sticking into his chest.
The last thing Saria heard were the maniacal laughs of her lover. Laughing at her pain. A tear dropped from her eye as her vision turned black and she breathed her last breath.
