Percy wasn't the jealous type. No, he was the possessive type. At least, that's what he tells himself. He was possessive, because a black haired man behind them couldn't stop staring at Annabeth.

They were at a small coffee shop near their college. The place was quiet with college kids chatting, and laughing. Annabeth was completing her homework while Percy was sitting across from her. He kept himself busy by watching her work. Her curls covered her face, ,and she sighed in frustration when she couldn't find an answer to a problem.

Percy was about to continue with his not at all stalker like staring when he caught a man about his age doing the same thing. He was watching Annabeth while saying something to his college friends.

He stood up and headed towards their table. Gaze fixed on Annabeth. Percy frowned as Annabeth looked up to have her eyes on the man with blue eyes. The man was handsome, Percy knew that, but, Annabeth didn't seem to care. The man smirked as if he had practiced this a lot of times and introduced himself.

"Mark", he smiled holding out a hand for a handshake. Annabeth kept an expressionless face as she shook his hand.

"Okay."

A shocked look spread his face as if he hadn't expected that. "What's your name?" He asked impatiently.

She turned back to her book. "Annabeth" She answered.

Mark smiled. "Well, pretty lady, I-"

"She's really trying to study right now." Percy cut in.

Mark looked over at Percy surprised. "And who are you?"

"My boyfriend." Annabeth answered. Earning shocked looks from both mark, and percy.

"I'm sorry, Mark, but, I am not interested." She continued, staring into mark's blue eyes.

He frowned, and walked away.

"He was flirting, and I was uncomfortable." Annabeth explained.

Percy nodded.

But for some reason, a smile spread his face.

This was a one-shot.
