Humming quietly Mew soared though the air above the trees. Watching the passing Pokémon go through their days. Coming upon a Snorlax she stopped, using her paw she gently pushed the side of it's face, earning a loud snore in return. Flying above the sleeping Pokémon she squeeled dropping out of the air onto it's belly sqeeking happily each time it's new perch rose with the Snorlax's breathing. As the sun slowly sank she saw something strange in the forest. A flame. Abandoning her fun she flew over to landed on a tree branch gazing down at the flame, attached to a sleeping flame Pokémon. Sliding down from the branch the curious Mew investigated further. Circling the Pokémon she insured his slumber was not disturbed by her presence. Hovering over it she watched it flicker in the nonexistent breeze. Returning to her humming she became enthralled in the light.
Waking from his nap Charmander was shocked to see a small pink floating Pokémon gazing at the flame on his tail. Feeling threatened he stood growling and tucking his tail behind him. Blue eyes locked with his and the small creature smiled. "Mew." It squeaked in greeting smiling at him. He growled again, bearing his fangs in warning trying to scare the strange pink creature away. It leaned back confused, but immediately growled back playfully. Charmander huffed, walking away tucking his tail between his legs to hide it from the other Pokémon.
Mew's heart sank as the orange flame Pokémon waked away. She floated after him squeaking softly, trying to catch his attention. Annoyed by his rejection, she flew around in front of him growling. Caught off guard by the creature's sudden expression of anger, Charmander stumbled backwards landing on his behind. Mew peeped happily dropping down on his chest smiling and giggling softly, their game renewed. Charmander though annoyed, smiled at this creature's innocence deciding to give in to the game. "Charmander!" The orange Pokémon moved toward the sound stopping to look at his new friend. Mew nodded before floating over and rubbing their snouts together, she quickly licked his cheek before hiding. Charmander ran toward his name.
High above Mew watched silently as the Charmander greeted his trainer. "Where you been Charmander? I've been looking all over for you." The orange Pokémon shrugged looking behind him. "well you seem better now." The Charmander nodded. his flame becoming slightly brighter on his tail. As his trainer began to walk away Charmander looked behind him unsure if his new friend was around. He waved at the dark trees behind him before following.
