Prologue

Roggar walked alone through the mountains of Skyrim, he wore old leather armor and carried a rusted long sword at his side.

He wasn't an impressive man; he was no older than twenty five, almost seven feet tall and lightly muscled, he had blond hair down to his shoulders and a scruffy beard.

How could this happen to him he was just a simple man who worked the docks in the Imperial City, then one day the guards arrested him. They said he was the man who robbed people's shops in the dead of night; he tried to explain to them that they had the wrong man and that he was being framed, but it was to no avail.

The punishment for the crime was exile from Cyrodiil, after a long ride to the border the guards untied him and gave him some armor and a sword. They told him if he ever returned to Cyrodiil he would be arrested and executed.

Roggar had no choice but to climb through the mountains. He was a Nord but he had never even seen Skyrim before, how was he supposed to get coin and feed himself , all he knew was boats and from what he heard there went many boats in Skyrim

He had been walking for almost a week and it has all been uphill, Roggar was exhausted from walking all day and barely sleeping at night.

The constant fear of possibly becoming a late night snack for a bear or a saber cat gnawed at him, preventing him from drifting in to sleep.

Once Roggar reached the top of the mountain he gazed down upon the vast land of Skyrim. Off in the distance he saw what appeared to be a small town with black smoke rising from it, out of curiosity he set off in the direction of the burning town.

As he neared the town the smell of burning wood and flesh filled his lungs, he cringed at the thought of being burnt alive there was no worse way to die in his opinion.

He could see that parts of the towns wall had collapsed, through the gaps in the wall he could see houses burning and charred bodies that lay motionless on the ground. He had never seen a dead body in his life and he never thought he would see so many of them in one place, he could tell whatever happened in this town was not the doing of any man or woman.

Roggar was unable to be around all this chaos any more so he continued down the mountain to find some authority's he could notify about what he had seen. As he trekked through the wood he hear a roar echo through the sky, it was not like anything he had heard before it made all the hairs on the back of his neck stand on edge. He gazed up at the sky looking for the source of the terrible noise when he saw a figure as black as death itself flying away beyond the mountains. Roggar did not know what he had just seen but it left an uneasy feeling in the pit of his stomach.
