Falling

By: Higasa

Kento Shibata knew that Mei wasn't looking at him.

He grumbled inwardly, annoyed at the fact that she was thinking about his brother. At the same time, he hated how she looked sad that his brother was attending to perfect, but creepy Lucia-sama.

Damn the butler-master exchange.

It annoyed him. Not only Mei bugged him, but everyone else at the school did.

This whole butler-master exchange was getting ridiculous and grating on his nerves.

Not that he enjoyed being Rika-san's apprentice or being scolded by Aoyama.

He thought back to what both Nezu and Shinobu had told him earlier. It irritated him that he was always compared to his brother.

By his family and no less here, by the butlers. It was always "Why can't Kento be more like Rihito?"

"Oi, Glass Udon Girl," Kento said, trying to snap Mei out of her thoughts.

The next thing he knew they were close. Really close. Their lips were almost touching. He didn't do it intentionally. Kento was trying to shake her out of her reverie, but instead she was pulled forward.

Mei realized how close their proximity was and stepped back. As she did her footing twisted and Kento was about to catch her, but…

"Be careful," Rihito said gently, helping her up.

"Rihito-sama, you shouldn't interfere those two practicing," Lucia-sama said. "Come, let's go back to the dorm."

Kento could see that Mei's eyes were following them, as they headed out of the classroom. To take her mind off from them, Mei said, "Come on Mameshiba, let's practice one more time."

He could see that Mei was falling in love with Rihito and she was falling hard.

FIN.
