'It's just that; the land of wonder. Wonderland.' Hatter gave Alice an odd look that made her feel silly for having assumed otherwise.

'So it's just a country in a much larger world?' She still wanted to be sure so she asked him with flushed cheeks.

'Yeah, Underworld seeing as it's under your world.' He said it with a grin playing at the corners of his mouth.

'Underworld?' Alice had a disbelieving look on her face, not quite sure if he was pulling her leg.

'As in werewolves and vampires?' another very different fictional world came to mind. Hatter however looked puzzled.

'What are those?' so it was just a coincident. Alice felt relieved.

'Werewolves are people who can turn into wolves and…' Hatter interrupted her with a leap to his feet.

'We have those!' he almost shouted, but quickly lowered his voice to a mumble. Alice rocked back on her heels with widened eyes.

'Well in O.Z. at least and it's not wolves it's dogs.' He had started spinning his hat nervously by its brim.

'What? Really? Werewolves, umm weredogs? Wait did you say Oz?' Alice stumbled over her questions that were piling up at an alarming rate.

'Yeah, it's north of Wonderland with Narnia in the east.' He had started flipping his hat in an impossible manner while he thought.

'Narnia?... as in the lion, the witch and the wardrobe?' Alice skeptically cocked her eyebrow at Hatter.

'They closed their borders once Wonderland started dealing in Teas.' He didn't seem to have heard her as he kept on talking without answering any of her questions.

'Azkadellia didn't mind though… well until she wasn't possessed by the witch anymore that is and her sister DG returned. Damned Neverlanders came up with it, all a bunch of scallywags…' Alice couldn't believe her ears; however Hatter seemed oblivious to her. He was much to caught up in his own thoughts and ramblings.

'Now you're just making things up.' Alice decided he must be screwing with her. Wonderland was one thing, but what he was saying was something quite the other.
