Here's a quick one shot of Elsa's thought after the Great Thaw. Even though it's short, I hope you enjoy it! :D
It's been an week after summer has come back to Arendelle's beloved land and when Elsa took her position back as their Queen again.
Elsa was in her office working on some papers that were sent from different leaders across the land. Until, suddenly, she heard an knock on the door.
"Come in" She said without even looking up from her work. The door opened and an soft and calming voice was heard
"Excuse me, Your Majesty?"
Elsa stopped what she was doing an looked up to see the lady that have taken care of her and Anna ever since they were little. "Yes Gerda?"
"I have more papers that the kingdoms next to us want you to look over." Gerda said as she made her way to Elsa and hand the papers over to her "I'm guessing it have something to do with making business with you for trading"
"Thank you very much Gerda for bringing this to me" Elsa said as she took the papers from Gerda. Gerda smiled at the young Queen
"Of course Your Majesty" Gerda said as she bowed before taking her leave out of the room.
Elsa waited an few minutes to make sure Gerda was completely gone before she did anything else. When she was satisfied that Gerda was gone,
Elsa pushed the papers to the side with an flick of her hand. She then lean back on her chair and slowly let an frost breath out before she began asking questions.
Why did she have to take so much responsibility? Why did Arendelle wanted an freak like her to be their Queen again anyway? Did they not learn what just happened? What was so special about me that they wouldn't let Anna be Queen in my place? Yeah. Anna. Why Anna couldn't be Queen? I think she would of made an perfect Queen. She's sweet, kind, courageous, and brave. Yeah I believe she would of been perfect as Queen."
But Elsa suddenly had an vision on what it would be like if Anna was Queen.
She can picture herself laying on an hill that gave her an overview over the kingdom. Olaf was there running around with an flower in his hand, making up an song about it.
Elsa couldn't help but giggle at the snowman and decide to have some fun as well. She began letting go of her powers as much as she pleased without hurting anybody that she cared about. When she was about to make an creation with her ice, suddenly, she smells smoke and hearing people screaming. She quickly look over and saw an Arendelle cover in chocolate and things on fire! Elsa quickly made her way from the hill and through the screaming citizens all the way to the castle to see what was happening. When she got there, she then see Anna standing in front of the castle, watching the guards and maids either panicking or trying to put out the fire.
Anna then turns around to face her older sister. When she did, she was cover in chocolate from head to toe.
"Opps. Sorry Elsa. Guess I'm being Queen still doesn't mean I can't cook well huh?" Anna then gave an nervous and embarrass chuckle as she put an hand on the back of her head.
Elsa then felt an teardrop going down her head.
Elsa snapped back into an reality. She looks down at the papers that she had push aside and quickly grabbed them. She then got her pen and began to write, rapidly. She then said in an half chuckle voice "On second thought I think that it was right for me to be Queen again. For Anna's sake and Arendelle's as well"
