Hello! I am back! Yay! Anywhooooo... Here is another little one shot poem-y thing that really isn't a poem but in my mind it is so whatever. This was originally written for Hermione so idk what happened to that haha. Alright I feel like I am blabbering but its just so good to be back to writing. If you are coming from my other stories you are probably wondering about whats going on with the next gen I was planning on writing. To be honest my only good answer is I have know idea! It is sorta in my head but it hasn't made it to paper. Also I'm afraid that if I start it I won't have time to finish it. Sigh... I'll figure out something...
The Dreams of a Ten Year Old
When I was young I would always say when I go to university, never if I go to university. I knew I was smart and I had big plans for my future.
Unlike Petunia, I wanted to go to the fancy prep school our dashing neighbor went to. I refused to think that next year I would be enrolled in the utterly dreadful public secondary school down the street. As the silly ten year old I was, I was worrying about what would look good on my résumé.
My plans for after my schooling were equally extravagant. I would be the owner of some successful business and marry a handsome and equally successful man (someone like my neighbor, perhaps?).
I can easily tell you Hogwarts was never part of that plan, and James Potter was definitely not part if the plan. I cannot complain, though, because I love Hogwarts. As for James Potter, he wasn't part of the plan, but neither was Hogwarts. I opened up for Hogwarts and I could do the same for James.
After all, I am Head Girl and I still want my dreams from when I was ten to come true, just with a wizarding twist!
Tadaaaaa! I know, I know, whata joke, so short. Hopefully something a bit more interesting will be coming your way :) Please leave a review and I'll love you forever!
