Today my mother kicked me out of the house today when she said that it was past time for me to start my Pokémon Journey.
Honestly, I'm 10. Jeez. Can't a kid get a good education 'round here?
Anyways, I decided it was time to leave this tiny town. There are only three houses… well, two houses and a laboratory here. (And between you and me, I think there's some "experimenting" going on… if you know what I mean.)
Having watched generations start their journey before me, I knew I had to go straight to the Prof. Oak's Lab. But when I get there, he's not there! Gary's standing there spouting nonsense about him being out. Of course the one day…
So I head toward the only exit (besides the pretty water) of our (god-forsaken) town only to be stopped by none-other than Professor Oak himself. (Gary, that lying bastard!)
The old geezer dragged me back to his lab. And what am I greeted with? Gary whining about getting his first Pokémon first! I'm the one who found Oak, I get first picks!
I looked at the three shiny Pokéballs. I had to choose from a lizard, a turtle, and a… bug? Dinosaur? Dog?
After much thought and consideration, I chose Bulbasaur! I named her Eva. Such a cutey! But just as I was finished picking Eva, Gary comes up and chooses Charmander! Prick…
And then he has the audacity to want to fight me! Yeah! Then Oak starts spewing "battle advice" all the while I beat up Gary.
But… First hit, Gary gets a Critical hit… I may not last long… Only 3 HP left… A-And… Eva.. Died… Right there in the Lab…
She will be dearly missed…
