Summary: Sakura keeps running away.
The first time Sakura came to Kakashi's apartment for help, the whole, new, Team 7 was there. When the door was opened, she passed out on top of Kakashi. As soon as Naruto saw her extensive wounds, he demanded that they go and find who had done this to their Sakura-chan. Sasuke noted that Kakashi and Yamato didn't look surprised at Sakura's wounds, neither did Sai; however, but he had a glint in his eye that said he agreed with Naruto. Kakashi, Yamato, and Sai's reactions really should have clued him into what was going on, but it didn't.
The first time Sakura chose a solo A-rank mission over an A-rank mission with her team, Sasuke knew for sure that something was up. He knew Sakura had matured physically, mentally, and emotionally; you couldn't just face down Konan of the Akutsuki alone without having done so. But, he still had expected some reaction from her upon his decision to come back to Konoha. He got nothing though. When the team would train, she fought with everyone except him. When the team would go out to eat, she would politely refuse. Sasuke knew that she ate with Naruto at Ichiraku's for lunch when they were both in Konoha, and he knew Sakura sat with Sai in the evenings as he painted. Sasuke even knew that Sakura lived in the same apartment complex as Kakashi, and when she had nightmares or was too tired to heal herself, Sakura slipped into bed with Kakashi. Although that wasn't as surprising because Kakashi did use her as his own personal medic all the time now since she lived so close that if he passed out, she only had to walk up a flight of stairs. Even Yamato got special treatment from Sakura; she would train with him for hours, then the pair would sit together under a tree of his making and read. Gradually, however, she no longer had the time to do these things; Sakura took solo mission after mission, and left her team behind.
What did he care anyway? He should be glad she wasn't fawning all over him.
So Sasuke let things go the way they were going, but all it took was one simple mission for him to decide to be proactive about the situation.
So yeah. I'm going to try a short multi chap. fic this time! I really am not a big fan of writing bc I want to go off on so many tangents but I cant or else the story will turn out badly. But hey, im trying…
