Pain was all I could feel. I don't know where I am, nor do I care. I only want to live my life without being a test subject that they could use. I had only intended to escape the lab, not the world.

-20 minutes earlier-

"Subject 12 is escaping!"

"Call the guards!"

"God dammit how did she manage to escape?!"

I ran as fast as I could, I had to make it. If I didn't I would never be able to escape again. I ran past everything using my arms to shield myself from their bullets.

Everything was a blur except the sky ahead of me. I needed to hurry. I quickened my pace, Its so close...

I got to the end of the cliff, and stopped for a quick breath. I looked behind to see I was being ambushed by armored guards. I jumped off the cliff when the water started to swirl like a whirlpool. I dived into the whirlpool and looked behind seeing it close around me after I dived down. After a minute, the water started to change. what it changed into I wouldn't know. I was startled when I saw the sky at the bottom of the whirlpool and I fell straight into the ground. I curled 4 of my arms around me to soften the blow while using my other 2 to wrap around me should I not be able to catch myself. When I landed the impact was softened but still hurt. I landed right on my feet effectively breaking them and my left tibia. I hissed in pain but was glad I didnt break anything else. I layed there not being able to move my legs. I attempted to crawl to a safe place but I failed horribly when I realised my arm was out of its socket. I was losing consciousness fast when I heard some voices nearby.

"Hey, hey is that a girl?"

"Hn"

"It is we should help her!"

-Now-

I woke up and saw 3 pairs of eyes above me.

"Hey shes awake, teme look shes awake!"

I sat up and looked at the three people in front of me. This one had bright blond hair, with clear blue eyes, while the other boy had dark hair and eyes with a impassive kind of face. The last face I saw surprised me because of her hair and eye color. Is she a diclonius too? She had green eyes and light pink hair, hair like mine. The difference between us though was I had one dark pink eye and one red eye which the people at the lab had kept covered with a piece of cloth which I believed was called an "eye-patch".

"shut up dobe she's probably still tired"

The nurse in the room started to write on the "clipboard"

"where do you come from?"

I looked away from her, I never have known where that lab was.

"I don't know"

"what is your name?"

"My name is subject 12"

Their shock was apparent in their faces. The nurse shook her head, "we will need to give you a proper name, as well as a home to call you're own. But for now what are those on your head?"

"Those are my horns, I am a part of the species called diclonius, I have horns and six arms"

Even the impassive one was gaping at me now which was probably not a common sight, he shook his head and glared at me.

"tch you don't have six arms, if you did I would be able to see them".

To show him wrong I used my arms to pick up the divider next to me, He and the others were now twitching and I started laughing at their expense. The blonde one snapped out of it first

"Wait so what should we call you, personally I think Koneko would work since your horns look like cat ears dattebayo!

"Good idea Naruto!" called out the pink one. I stared at her for a minute trying to find horns of some kind on her.

"why are you staring at me?" she said after she noticed me looking at her.

"Just trying to see if you are one of my kind, since we all have pink hair and either pink, green, or red eyes" I answered

She looked ecstatic " Really, they all have pink hair!" I quirked my brow at her because nobody I've ever met wanted pink hair.

"Believe me when I say if you ever see one of my kind, run, and run far away" I warned her.

"why should I run, i'm a ninja I can handle it". I sighed and responded back "How can you fight back against something that you cant see and can cut through human bones with ease?"

Her eyes widened and she yelled at me " If I am supposed to not get near them how can I be near you then?"

"Because so long as my demon eye is covered I am not affected by blood lust and I am the only one who is generally unaffected by it'.

The impassive one smirked and asked "How is it you can cut through bones with ease?" I used my vectors to cut the machine next to me so fast they didn't realize it till a second later.

Once again I had them gaping at me.

-30 minutes later-

The nurse had gotten back the x-ray of my leg she got the doctor to give me a cast and crutches, I was now free to go. she wanted me though to first visit this "hokage" or whatever they called him. The three kids ,whom I learned were Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto, accompanied me over there. I had taken a liking to the name Koneko so I kept it. Once inside the tower we signed in and headed upstairs. The kids were worried over carrying me but I used my vectors to bring me up. We knocked on the door and once we heard a gruff "come in" we walked into the room. It was spacious to the point of almost no furniture in the room. We sat down in chairs that were in front of his desk.

"what is your name child"

I knew he was the leader of the village so I decided to be respectful like I had to be when someone important came to the lab.

"Koneko Hokage-sama"

"where are you from?"

"I don't know Hokage-sama"

I explained to him about my life after I made the kids leave so I couldn't give them nightmares or have them think differently of me. Even the Hokage was pale as I told him of my past torture.

" After being taken at five years old, you were given no food, just surviving on nutrients through tubes while they performed experiments on you, such as launching metal balls at you to see how strong your vectors are and constantly tortured you to see if you would attempt to kill them while you were unable because a cloth had kept you from using those powers?"

I nodded my head, it was all true.

"And there were others like you except they couldn't turn off their powers"

"Hai Hokage- sama"

He growled "I would like to find them and kill them, no one deserves that, not even if you aren't human".

"I wouldn't be so sure about that Hokage-sama" He looked shocked at my words, as though I would completely agree.

"The Diclonious have been foretold to kill all humans in that world, so I could understand, even if it hurt I couldn't say if I were told that humans would be ruling over the world I wouldn't want to research to find a way to kill them".

He nodded in understanding, as a ninja he understood it was kill or be killed.

"I shall allow you to stay with a ninja of high caliber in case you accidentally have your cloth ripped off, after we get you a new eye patch of course, to be able to knock you out"

He waved his hands and a man dressed in armor appeared, I didn't even know he was here...

"Bring Kakashi here at once"

The man disappeared leaving a swirl of leaves in his wake.

-After about an hour-

A man with silver hair sticking straight up came in

"sorry Hokage-sama I got lost on the road of life"

"I need you to house this girl and teach her how to manipulate chakra, she shall also be added on as the fourth member of team 7".

He furrowed his brows and shakily answered

"b-but Hokage-sama whats so special about this girl?"

The old Hokage smiled at that "You caught on fast, this girl isn't human, she isn't even from this dimension or world".

Kakashi's single eye widened in disbelief

"Not human, then what is she?"

The Hokage explained to him about me being a diclonious and I explained my past to him without missing a beat, by the end of it Kakashi looked green. I picked up some chairs using my vectors to show we weren't making it up. We left soon after and since Kakashi promised his students that he would be there for dinner, and apparently we showed up 30 minutes late. We sat down at someplace called" Ichirakus Ramen"

"Kakashi-sensei whats koneko doing here?"

Kakashi smiled underneath the mask "shes going to be your new teammate and my new roommate"

The three kids paled at me being a roommate to their sensei which I was confused, why would they be concerned we are just sharing a house. It didn't matter where I lived so log as it wasn't the street. Right?

"So koneko, if you have six arms could you hold six bowls of ramen"

"I have eight arms and six of them are vectors naruto-kun"

Naruto bought six bowls of ramen to test it out, once he saw me holding six bowls of ramen in the air he promptly declared it to be the best "kekkei genkai" whatever that means and inhaled all six bowls when I couldn't eat one since I haven't ate since I was five. Apparently stomachs shrink when you don't eat food. Once me and Kakashi finished and Naruto ate the rest of my bowl we left Ichirakus and went home. Kakashi had a spare bedroom that he said was mine and I slept for the first time forever peacefully.
