It was a sunny day, and light streamed through the large windows at Dalton Academy. Blaine walked down the corridor, watching as birds flew by peacefully, tweeting their silly little songs and watched as candyfloss clouds drifted by without a care.

Blaine wondered what it would be like to be able to fly through those clouds, wondered what it would be like to fly at all. But his thoughts were stopped short as Blaine heard crying further down the corridor.

Blaine jogged down the corridor and noticed Kurt leaning against the wall, tears streaming down his pink cheeks, his lip bitten as he tried to contain his sobs.

"Kurt?" Blaine asked, concern clearly displayed in his eyes, "Kurt, what's wrong, what's happened?"

Kurt looked up with a start, his blue eyes wet and startled. Kurt leapt up from the wall and turned, beginning to walk in the other direction. This baffled Blaine, and he jogged up to Kurt, walking in front of him to stop him.

"What's wrong?" Blaine repeated, placing his hands on Kurt's arms, keeping him in place. Kurt turned his face away, sniffing.

Blaine leaned in and cupped Kurt's face, making him look at him with those amazingly blue eyes that sparkled as the light hit them. His lips were slightly parted, those beautifully plump, pink lips. Blaine wanted so dearly to kiss them, and he could, they were so close.

Blaine leaned in further and softly kissed Kurt.

Blaine heard Kurt take a slight intake of breath, and then relax as Blaine wrapped his other arm around Kurt's waist, bringing him closer to him, deepening their kiss.

Blaine was a romantic, he read romance books, and watched romance films and shows, and just believed in the romance. He'd heard and read about how when you kissed someone special, it would feel like fireworks exploding and other wonderful things.

But this kiss... this kiss went beyond fireworks exploding. This was fireworks exploding, rockets launching. it felt as if they were floating in water, nothing else existed, no one else, just the two of them, alone and together in this magical moment.

When their lips finally parted, Blaine watched as Kurt's eyes opened to reveal those baby blue eyes again, the tears gone.

"So what was wrong?" Blaine whispered, rubbing Kurt's flushed pink cheek with his thumb.

Kurt shook his head slightly. "Nothing... nothing at all."

They smiled at each other, and somehow, their lips reached each other's again.

Nothing mattered anymore, not when they had each other.

This was a little oneshot (finally, finally managed to do one!), and I mean little, it's only 425 words long...
