There was a flash of light in the middle of a forest and a tall muscular man appeared unconscious out of thin air, The man was around 6'9 and well-built with messy brown hair, A pair of black sunglasses over his red eyes He wore black combat boots with black jeans, He had a white shirt with a long black leather coat, He wore a thin silver chain around his neck with a silver skull with red eyes hanging from it, He wore black leather fingerless gloves on his hands. The man groaned as he sat up, his eyes narrowed as he looked around with a stern expression on his face, "where the hell am I?" he said with a very rough, deep voice as he stood up he hear loud gunshots and yelling followed by a growl so loud it shook the trees around him. He wanted to ignore it and find out where he was but looking around ounce more, he realized there was no sign of civilization around, except for the very loud combat that he could hear. Left with no other choice he started walking towards the gunshots.
As he enters a clearing what he finds is not what he expects, in the middle of the clearing is what appears to be a giant scorpion." what in the holy fuck is that?!" He asked as he stared at the black scorpions' white bone like armour with red lines over its face and around its eyes and over its pinchers, giant yellow almost glowing stinger hanging over its head, its ten orange eyes ranging in size all glaring at four reasonably young girls. They seemed to be in their seventeens except for one who was maybe fifteen. I suppose I could help them. He thought, "you should help them" a voice in the back of his head stated. He sighed as he started towards the creature still unaware of his presence. "G'day gorgeous" the creature screamed as it turned to face him "well shit" he said to himself, it screamed again before snapping its huge pincers at him only for him to step out of the way of its attacks, the scorpion hurled its stinger at the man, the youngest of the four girls now spectating covered her eyes and tried not to peek yet she still did, but gasped when she saw the man holding the creature by its stinger he reached back his knuckles cracking as he made a fist, "knock, knock bitch" he said as he hit the scopion with a powerful haymaker there was a loud cracking as the scorpions face caved in, all the girls stared wide eyed at what they just witnessed.
"That was awesome" the youngest girl squealed "you were all like hyaa and hwoaa and then pow" she spun herself around as she mimicked his hand movements. She has shoulder length black hair with red tips, she wears a long sleeved thick black blouse with a high collar and red trim on the sleeves, a black waist cincher with red lacing up the front, and a black skirt with red trim. She also wears a pair of thick black stockings and black combat boots with red laces, red trim around the top and red soles. Her outfit is topped by a red hooded cloak fastened to her shoulders by cross-shaped pins. Her emblem appears as a large silver brooch and is pinned to a wide black belt slung around her hips on an angle, which also carries bullets and a pouch. The small girl was holding a red scythe nearly a foot taller than her, with what appeared to be a magazine and a scope along the shaft. The scythe then folded up into a small rectangular shape.
"so, what's your name?" Another girl asked shaking her head at the other girls' silliness, she has long golden hair with orange tips, lilac eyes She wears a tan jacket that bares her midriff, her right arm seemed to be robotic but it was hard to tell, it was covered with a sleeve of some kind with golden brown piping and short, puffy sleeves with black cuffs that feature two gold buttons. Underneath this, she wears a low-cut yellow crop top with her emblem on the left breast in black. She also wears a brown belt covered by a pleated brown piece of material reaching from hip to hip around the back of her waist, with her emblem emblazoned on the right-most pleat in gold. Underneath this is a longer, white, asymmetrical piece of material reaching to her knee on the right side, as well as a pair of black mini-shorts. She wears a pair of brown, knee-high boots and orange over-the-knee socks, with the right sock pushed down just below the knee. A purplish-gray bandanna is tied around her left knee. An orange infinity scarf and black fingerless gloves complete her outfit. She has two yellow gauntlets on her fist which then retract into a bracelet.
"How did you kill a death stalker with your bare hands?" another girl asks, she has black hair and amber eyes with a black bow on top of her head, she wears a black buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front. Underneath this is a white, sleeveless, high necked, crop undershirt and white shorts with a zipper on the front of each leg, emblazoned with a YKK. She also wears black low-heeled boots and full stockings with a colour gradation of black to purple at her ankles. Her emblem is visible on the outside of both thighs just below her shorts in white. On her left arm is a detached sleeve with a silver cuff around her bicep, and black ribbons are wrapped around both forearms. A small, loose scarf is wrapped around her neck and a gray magnetic backpack is strapped to her back, hidden by her hair, holding what appears to be a sword yet the has a feeling he doesn't want to know what else it dose.
The man looked at the last girl as if expecting her to ask another question, but she never did. she is a pale skinned young girl with pale blue eyes and long white hair pulled back into an off-centre bun tail on the right side and pinned with an icicle shaped tiara. A crooked scar runs vertically down her left eye. She wears a thigh-length strapless dress with a faint colour gradation from white to pale blue at the hem. A small piece of black lace sits in the front of her neckline and the hem of the dress is scalloped and stitched to resemble snowflakes, with layers of white tulle under the skirt. Over this she wears a bell sleeved bolero with the same colour gradation as her dress from shoulder to wrist, lined in red and with a ruffled collar. On the back of the bolero is a symbol that resembles that of a snowflake, she also wears a small apple pendant on a silver chain and thin, rectangular silver earrings. Her boots are white, wedged heeled and higher at the back than the front. They have a small silver decoration across the top of the foot and are lined in red. A thin white sash is tied around her waist with a pouch attached to the back. Holding a Rapier with a revolving chamber in the guard
He sighs "the names Raider, and who might you lot be?" he said with a strong New Zealand accent making two of the girls flinch. "Ruby Rose" the young girl said "Yang Xiao Long" the yellow haired girl stated "Blake Belladonna" the black-haired girl stated hesitantly "Weiss Schnee" the pale skinned girl said coldly. "as for how I gave that" he paused for a second trying to remember what Blake called the scorpion. "...thing a crater face I have no idea" he finished his sentence failing to remember the creatures name. "I like these girls", the voice in his head stated. Quiet you, he thought.
Raider looks up at the setting sun leaving a orange sky and a shattered moon "where are we going?" he asks, "wouldn't you like to know" Weiss answered "Weiss don't be rude" Ruby said " be sides as much as I think any of us would hate to admit it he kinda saved us" Blake pointed out "our hero" Yang says with a grin before she starts laughing. "we're going to our camp site" Ruby finally said. "so are you guys a team or somethin'? Like oh, oh, oh I know the ferocious four or the um oh ah yea that's all I can think of, yea I'm not the best with names" he says as he starts chuckling "not quite but it was funny" Yang said "see you even made Blake smile" Ruby said with a grin, Blakes smile instantly turned into a terrifying glare. "our team name if you must know is RWBY" Weiss stated with the same icy tone as before. "sheesh how many points if I make the ice queen just smile for a couple seconds?" Raider asked. Yang burst into laughter Blakes smile had returned and Ruby was doubled over giggling while Weiss stared at everyone with a cross look on her face. Raider looked at Weiss innocently then looked away and started whistling when he saw her glaring at him.
"We're here" Ruby declared, Arf, a little grey and white Corgi came out of a green tent "Zwei" Ruby shouted as she ran up to the dog and started playing with it, "you left a dog here by itself?" Raider asked "girls?, back already?" a slightly croaky voice asked as a man sped out of the tent, he had green messy hair, His attire is disheveled, his white shirt partially tucked into his dark-green pants and its collar raised, showing a slack yellow tie, along with mismatched brown and black shoes. He also has round glasses that appear to be opaque. "I assume you dealt with the death stalker." the man said as he looked towards Raider "and I see you've made a friend" "this is Raider" yang said cheerfully "I see, my name is Doctor Oobleck" he said taking a sip from his green furnace, he then zips back into his tent "what's in that cup geez" Raider asked "would you like some coffee Raider?" Doctor Oobleck asked well that answers that he thought as he politely declined the coffee "no thank you I don't really drink coffee" he said "hmm we have tea otherwise there's not much else" "I'd love some tea thank you" "sugar?" Oobleck asked "none please" Raider replied "well that's easy to remember" Oobleck says with a smile as he hands the hot cup to Raider "thank you" he says as he takes the cup.
There was laughing as Raider, Oobleck and team RWBY sat around the fire talking and sharing stories, "you didn't really did you?" Oobleck asked still chuckling "it gets better, when he turned around, I turned and ran straight into a pole I swear was on the other side of me" raider said chuckling everyone else laughing with him, ounce everything calmed down again there a was silence, not a awkward silence but a peaceful silence. Raider noticed Blake staring into the darkness around the camp with a look of fright on her face, he could've sworn he saw her bow twitch he looked around to try and see what she was looking at. Though he couldn't see it he could feel it there was something watching them his face went serious Ruby noticed this "what's wrong Raider?" she asked "we're being watched" Blake answered for him Raider stood cracking multiple joints as he tensed ready for a fight his eyes narrow, everyone else got their weapons ready while Oobleck just stood there drinking his what seemed to be never ending coffee suddenly there was bang as a rocket propelled gold and bronze spear flew towards Raider, there was a loud twang as everyone stared at Raider holding the spear in between two fingers. He then continued to twirl the spear around his fingers. "what part of I don't need a weapon do people not understand geez" he said as he dug the spear into the ground. Everyone seemed to relax as they seemed to recognize the spear. "alright guys you can come out now" yang said with a sigh her gauntlets retracting to their bracelet form. A group of two boys and two girls came out of the darkness.
