There once was a pinkette who lived with his father, the king of all fire dragons, they lived in a cave in the mountains, away from the humans. The boy was an orphan, whose parents left him by the side of Mount Hakobe, where Igneel, the fire dragon king, found him and raised him to become a dragonslayer, 15 years have passed and now Natsu was getting ready for his last training session of the day.

In a kingdom not far away, Gray Fullbuster, the prince of the town, Magnolia, his mother, Ur, had Ice-make magic. Gray inherited that power from her, and so did his brother, Lyon. Unfortunately, Ur past away when Gray was 5 since then his father had turned into a more darker person. He started to throw him into the dungeons and put him in metal collars chained up to the wall, that didn't allow him to use any magic, and lock the cell doors, this happened every time he did something that annoyed the king or did something he didn't like, and he would leave him in there for days without food or water. The same thing happens to Lyon, too. He was now 16 and haven't been in the dungeons in years.

Natsu Dragneel was walking down the condor and opened the huge door leading to the training grounds built in behind the mountain, it was a large arena covered in dirt. In the center of it, stood his instructor Gajeel Redfox.

"Hey, Salamander, you finally arrived.", he greeted Natsu, sometime there were humans that lived here who were either abandoned or kicked out of Magnolia, Gajeel was one of them.

"Well, yea.", Natsu shrugged,

"I thought you were gonna skip, since that's what you do everyday.",

"Father said that if I skip any more classes I would be in trouble, so I had to.",

"Let's get started then. Gehe.", Natsu lit up his fist and started to throw punches at Gajeel, but he dodged every one of them. Gajeel used his Iron-Dragon Lance and started swinging them, Natsu didn't have time to dodge and tried to block but failed.

"Ya know, your skills have been getting rusty lately. That's what you get for skipping classes.",

"I know, but I keep skipping yours since your better at me at this and I don't want my ass kicked by you every time!", Natsu whined,

"Oh, also your father said you're going to the meeting today, at 4:30 PM.", each month, Igneel goes to a place in between Magnolia and their village to pay them 70,000 jewels for them to keep their part of the shared land since King Silver had a powerful empire. A war had happened 70 years back, the humans were weak back then, so the dragons won, the humans and dragons are still against each other though, but the humans have gotten stronger as time passed. The dragons were scared that the humans would launch an attack on them, and make them flee from their homes, leaving them powerless.

Natsu has never been on these special trips, only Igneel's bodyguards have ever gone with him. He heard that the princes of Magnolia always went with their father, Silver. Natsu has been wanting to go ever since he was a kid since his father never gave him any details.

"But it's 3:00 right now...",

"...", Gajeel kept silent,

"HOLY MOTHERFUCKING SHIT I'M GOING TO BE LATE! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME EARLIER?! SHIT SHIT SHIT…!"
