A "BREIF" Christmas story,

A Christmas BREIFing
Disclaimer: * All I want for Christmas is a J/C ep. * And it doesn't even have to be mine. Please Para-santa. Please?!!
It was holiday time on Voyager again. It didn't matter if you celebrated Christmas, Hanukkah, Prixin or Kwanza. Everyone was in the holiday mood. Like every year, there was going to be a huge party on the holo-deck that would last all day. But this year the senior staff was holding a little party of their own. A Secret Santa party. The gifts were supposed to be small and comical. Of course it was Paris' idea.
On December 24, the group met at the holo-deck, gifts in hand. When they entered they stepped into a little cabin. Through the windows they could see snow falling. In the corner was an undecorated Christmas tree, and on the opposite wall was a huge fireplace with a nice warm fire already lit.
The group quickly got into the holiday spirit. After a little tree trimming, some Christmas carols, and some eggnog (spiked of course), they all settled down in a circle to open presents. B'Elanna opened her gift first and knew immediately that the rubber Bat'Leth was from Tom. She hit him over the head with it. "See?" he said, "If that had been the real thing then I'd be a gonner now."
"I'm not through with you yet helm-boy!" she said as she hit him over the head again.
Tom was next. He opened his gift and received a book titled 'The big book of Vulcan Jokes'. The book had perhaps ten pages total. Tom looked at Tuvok perplexed. "I was told the gift had to be "funny". Perhaps this book will improve the comical information you feel you have to share on the bridge." Tom just stared at him, and everyone else started laughing.
After a few more gifts which included face paint for Chakotay, a pillow person for Seven, a cookbook for Neelix (he thought it was funny, everyone else was serious), and Mickey Mouse ears for Tuvok, it was time for the captain to open her gift. She knew that it was from the commander because he was the only one who hadn't been reviled as a Secret Santa yet. Slowly she began unwrapping the box. First the paper, then the lid and finally more tissue paper. When she finally got to the gift inside, she held it up in confusion.
Inside the box was a pair of silk boxers. They were bright green with candy canes and the words "HO HO HO" in red. Kathryn looked at Chakotay and asked, "Do you mind telling me what these are for?" Chakotay looked around the group and said, "Well, It has come to my attention that there is a certain betting pool going around about me, which has been titled "Boxers or Briefs?" I also know that a certain captain has quite a few replicator rations riding on this bet. Now you can collect. Merry Christmas Kathryn." Her face turned as red as the candy canes on his boxers, but she managed to reply anyway. "Merry Christmas to us all."
