Damon and Stefan have been together for four years and there happily in love.
Stefan is the pool when he feels eyes on him. He stops swimming and looks up to see Damon looking at him. "Well are you going to join me or just stare at me?"
"Well I wouldn't stare if you didn't look so damn Sexy." Damon said smiling.
Stephen laughs "Language."
"I'm serious I could just eat you up." Damon takes off his shirt and licks his lips.
Stefan smiles "You could try."
Damon gets in and swims over to Stefan. "And I will succeed." Damon leans forward and licks the side of his neck. "God you taste so fucking good." Stefan digs his nails in Damon's back. "Ow Stefan what the hell was that"
"I hate it when you curse." Stefan yells out.
Damon looks down. "Shit I'm sorry I forgot."
"Damon!" Stefan turns around and swims away.
Damon swims after him and stops him. "Wait stop look I'm sorry I really forgot."
Stefan looks down, his back still toward Damon. "Every time you do it reminds me of that asshole you use to be."
"I know"
A single tear rolls down Stefan's face. "He's coming back isn't he?"
Damon wipes away his tear. "No he's not." Damon turns him around. "Come on Stefan look at me."
"Just leave me alone." He snaps
"No, look at me babe." Stefan looks up at Damon. "He's not coming back. Do you want to know why? Because I love you and I don't want to lose you."
Stefan smiles "I love you too."
They hug
Stefan rubs Damon's back and touches the nail marks he left making Damon flinch. "Sorry"
"Don't worry about it but come on I have a surprise for you." Damon starts to get out and Stefan follows him.
They walk into the house which is dark but lit with candles and roses.
"What's all this?" Stefan asks
"Do you like it?"
"Well it's not my birthday or your birthday so what's going on?" Stefan asks still smiling.
"You'll see" was all Damon said.
Afterwards
"Tonight was amazing Damon." Stefan said taking another sip of his wine.
"And I know something that will make it unbelievable." Damon gets up and pulls Stefan up with him. He wraps his arms around his neck. "Stefan you know how much I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you and no matter what happens I'll always be there for you."
"Meaning?" Stefan said
Damon takes a deep breath. "Stefan will you marry me?"
"What?"
"I said will you Stefan Salvador marry me?" he asked again.
"Are you serious?"
Damon nods "I've never been so sure about anything in my life." Stefan starts giggling like a little girl making Damon laugh. "Is that a yes?"
Stefan gets down on his knees in front of Damon and wraps his arms around his neck. "What the hell do you think? Yes Damon Salvador I will marry you." Stefan kisses Damon. "I love you so much."
Damon smiles "I love you to and I'll always be forever yours."
