Dear newcomer to the Shinigami Academy,
We are pleased to say that you have passed your entrance exams and are well on your way to becoming a trained Shinigami, and maybe a ranked one at that!
In about a week's time, you will receive your uniform and all else that is needed for you to attend this academy.
You will have to come in on the date specified on the entrance exam flier that was given to you beforehand in order for you to confirm your attendance and your class schedule. We hope you have an enlightening experience at the academy.
The academy has been in existence for approximately two-thousand years and the high standard of learning and knowledge has been maintained by the captains that are in charge today. If you want to learn more of the people who first went to this academy, you are advised strongly to go to captain's Shunsui Kyoraku and Jushiro Ukitake, as they were my first students and they know the most about how things run in the Seireitei.
For more information, you might want to look on the message boards posted around the academy, as we are always looking for new recruits into our thirteen companies.
Famous people within the thirteen court guard companies would be the celebrated captain's of eighth and thirteenth company (previously mentioned above as Shunsui Kyoraku and Jushiro Ukitake) and the prodigy and child genius Toshiro Hitsugaya. There is also, Kenpachi Zaraki, as he never had to go through the academy and became captain by simply killing and defeating the previous captain of eleventh company. Of course, all the captain's have major (and minor) achievements, all of them as outstanding as the rest.
We hope that you, as a top student of the entrance exams and new student to the advanced class, will strive to be the best and one day become captain or vice captain to one of our thirteen court guard companies and lead the Soul Society into a continuing great age.

This started out as a joke between me and my friend, because over the summer holidays I'd send her random emails about the anime we watch and she'd wonder who had sent them.
