Mooning over a lost love

Harry James Potter the boy who lived made his way through the graveyard behind Godrics hollow it had been a year since that night in the department of mystery and Harry was still trying to come to terms with the death of his godfather

As Harry approached the grave of his godfather he heard a quiet voice float on the breeze, as he got nearer he began to make you the words the voice was singing

As Harry rounded a corner he saw a figure sat at the end of Sirius's grave singing.

'Those were the days of our lives
The bad things in life were so few those days are all gone now
But one thing is true when I look and I find I still love you'

The clouds moved and the light of the half moon shone down on the head making the light brown hair of the man shone before disappearing behind a cloud again.

Tears ran unchecked down Harry's face as he continued to listen to the voice of the grieving man

"If he could have heard that I'm sure that he would have called you a sentimental old fool professor" said Harry

"Yes your right he probably would have and Harry I'm not your professor any more please call me Remus," said the werewolf

"Come on Remus lets get you home before it starts raining"

"Yes I'm sure molly already has a search party out looking for us"

"Yeah your probably right lets go"

As Harry and Remus neared the gates to the graveyard Remus turned and looked back in the direction of Sirius's grave then turned back the Harry and said "You know what Harry? I think it's about time that we let sleeping dogs lie"

"Your right Rem I don't think that he would want us to be unhappy for the rest of our lives"

What neither of them saw was a pair of ghostly blue eyes watching them leave with unshed tears glistening in them

"And I still love you my moony"

Well that's it I know its bad you don't have to tell me it was just a moment of madness
