In the eyes of the world
It's the time of richness and gold
One can sleep peacefully at night
& look forward to the next day's new light
During the day, there are tournaments like joust
All the kings and knights are ready to boast,
That they are the strongest among them all
Save a seat & watch, how they brawl.
And at the end of the great contest
Crowd will cheer for the one's conquest
The mob will disband
And will scatter across the land
Some will go in the great castle
To break away from all the bustle
The queens & ladies will have some biscuits & teas
Will resume their chatter, no one will disagree
Some will sport in the games of chess, checkers, backgammon and dice
And be merry with new set of prize
Others will be here, there, anywhere
Will do anything to avoid despair
They will wait until the clock strikes
To sign that dinner is close by
In nights, the great hall is in its brightest
And everyone dresses in their finest
In short while the grand ball will start
And everyone can't wait to take a part
Foods and drinks are already on table
That people can't wait to nibble
Here at last, the kings and queens of the land
To give their blessings and command
The grand ball can now commence
To everyone's delight and happiness
The noble kings will lead the beautiful queens to the floor
And the music will soar
Chatters and laughter can be heard through out the lawn
It will last from dusk to dawn
