Okay, basics: angsty fic sung to the tune of "Taking over" by Evanescence but this is not a Riku-centered, like the rest of mine. I figured Sora deserves some attention anyways. Sora turned away from his window. They were yelling at him again.
"C'mon Sora! You have to get out of there sometime!"
"Ya, man!"
[You don't remember me, but I remember you.
I lie awake and try so hard, not to think of you.]
He wouldn't go. He wouldn't move. Not until he came back. 'Don't think about him, don't think about the way his aquamarine eyes used to shine when he looked at you, don't think about the way his hair was always so perfect, don't think about how it all ended…'
[But who can decide what they dream?
And dream I do.]
"Take good care of her."
What good was she now?
Wanting him to come outside into the bright sunlight where everyone was happy. He didn't want to be happy.
"Sora? I really think you should go out with your friends."
[I believe in you
I'll give up everything just to find you
I have to be with you]
"No!" he yelled furiously. Nothing was worth doing anymore. Not without Riku. Tears began to stream down his face from sapphire eyes as his mother slammed the door behind her, yelling "I don't know what to do with the boy!"
"Bring Riku back…" he cried, giving into the overwhelming weight on his heart.

To breath
You're taking over me]
Why did he have to leave? 'Did he really want to do this to me?' Sora questioned. His brunet hair had started to become bouncy. Stupid heat.
[Have you forgotten all I know?
And all we had?
You saw me mourning my love for you,
And touched my hand]
Riku used to love the water. And the beach. Riku used to love him. He used to call him 'Sky' because that was what Sora's name meant. And Sora used to call him 'Land', it was just another sign that they were meant to be together. Together.
[I knew you loved me then.]
Sora began to turn. Riku was strong enough, he could escape Kingdom Hearts. He'd always thought that Riku was so hard and cold but Riku wasn't either of these things. He was warm and loving, and the best friend Sora had ever had.

I'll give up everything just to find you
I have to be with you]
The tears continued to build on Sora's pillow, soon soaking it. Sora pulled the pillow from underneath him, flinging it to the floor. He noticed his mirror.
They still hadn't stopped.
"Sora! You've got to come out! We're going to play blob tag!"
[To live
To breath
You're taking over me]
Sora stood, and strode over to the mirror.
"Was it me?" he asked his reflection but he knew deep inside it wouldn't answer. Riku's flawless beauty flashed in front of him, causing him to tip the mirror.
[I look in the mirror and see your face
If I look deep enough
So many things inside that are just like you are
Taking over.]
It shattered, scraping his finger roughly, causing blood to leak from the wound. The mirror fell to the floor at Sora's feet.
"Riku…"
"Hmm?"
[Taking over me.]
