Once, Meta Knight was walking down a trail, feeling bored. Suddenly, he felt tingling on his upper lip, and he also felt something sprout! Cautiously, he took off his mask, and gasped in wonder. He had a mustache!
Meta Knight shouted with joy, running towards Cappy Town. As he neared it, the Cappies gasped in wonder, seeing his mustache. Then, they all turned around, revealing that they had mustaches as well! Everyone had a mustache, even Tiff, who keeled over and died when she saw that it was too interesting for her to handle. Even the ladies had huge mustaches, so they all declared independence and put the dishes in the dishwasher.
The mayor, whose mustache grew even bigger, declared it Mustache Day, and everyone ate cake and balloons. The balloons made some of them fat, though.
Everyone was enjoying the festival, except for our alert hero Meta Knight, who noticed that King Dedede was not rejoicing with them. Meta Knight went to the castle to find out what was going on, and he found Dedede on his bed, without a mustache.
Without Dedede seeing, Meta Knight sneaked outside, and alerted the celebrating Cappies that Dedede did not have a mustache. They all gasped in horror, and some even fainted in shock. After a discussion, they all agreed that Dedede be forced to exile. Everyone sneaked up on Dedede, and they carried him out of their noble mustache lands.
"Who shall be our new king?" a single Cappy asked. Everyone had a meeting, and after long thinking, they all proclaimed Meta Knight the new King of the Mustaches. There was a feast and everyone celebrated, and King Meta Knight and his descendants ruled over Mustache Land for a very long time.
