I'm still here, I promise. My program at college is just crazy busy, so I don't get a lot of time to write any more. But I swear, a new chapter of TDIR is still in the works and will -hopefully- be finished before too long!

I don't own Total Drama.

"O-M-G! Ew! What is this?!" Katie's shrieking quickly brought Sadie to her senses.

"O-M-G! What's the matter Katie?!" Sadie asked in alarm, before clamping her hand over her mouth to stifle a snort of laughter when she saw her best friend.

"What is this?!" Katie repeated in disbelief, her pretty face contorted into a grimace beneath clumps of white foam, she looked as though she had something vile in her mouth as she stared at the remnants of white foam on her right hand. "Ugh! Is this shaving cream?!"

A snicker from the doorway drew both girls' attention to the doorway, Katie glaring at the punk boy leaning against the door frame.

"Good morning." Duncan greeted the two with a smirk, not even playing innocent.

"Sadie, it's in my mouth!" Katie exclaimed, retching. "Shaving cream tastes, like, so gross!"

"Duncan, that was totally mean of you!" Sadie exclaimed, crossing her arms over her chest as she gave the punk the sternest look she could muster. "You should, like, never do that to a person!"

"Anything you say, sweetheart." Duncan said, not even phased by the raven-haired girl's scolding as the two best friends made to leave the cabin.

"Hmph!" Katie cast a dark look in Duncan's direction before turning her head away from him, making it obvious that she intended to give him the silent treatment, although Sadie wasn't sure it would do much good.

Despite being mad on behalf of her best friend, Sadie found herself stealing a glance back at Duncan out of the corner of her eye as the duo passed him. She had been doing that an awful lot lately. But who could blame her? He was pretty cute, even if he was kind of a jerk. But Sadie found herself wondering why Katie had suddenly become Duncan's main target for practical jokes, even overtaking Harold for frequency, so Sadie imagined that Katie would not be pleased if Sadie told her bestie that she found the punk kind of cute.

But when she glanced back and her dark eyes met Duncan's blue ones for just half a second, Sadie was almost sure she saw Duncan wink at her. And for the first time in her life, she decided that she didn't care what Katie thought.

Because really, who could resist a bad boy?
