Okay I may have writing errors so I want to apologize in advance.
CHAPTER ONE!!!!!!!EPIC!!!!!!!
Percy looked across the ice skating rink and saw Annabeth wave at him. She was his first girlfriend.
He just hoped he wouldn't ruin it.
"Here it goes," he thought as he walked over to where she was standing.
"Hey Seaweed Brain," Annabeth said, planting a kiss on his cheek.
"Errr...hi?" He said tentatively.
Percy just thought of something; he was the son of Poseidon and he couldn't ice skate! Ice is basically WATER!
He gazed at all the other skaters. It didn't look too hard…
He stepped onto the ice to join Annabeth.
BAM!! Percy ended up with his face flat on the ground.
"Nice job genius!" Annabeth said playfully. She giggled.
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine," Percy said. For a moment Annabeth and Percy just looked into each other's eyes, before she kissed him once and smiled.
"Race you to the concession stand!"
"In your dreams wise girl. Oh, wait!" Percy said. He had been having so much fun he had forgotten the diamond ring in his pocket.
As he pulled it out he said, "Annabeth?"
"Yes?" she replied.
"Well, I wanted to know..."
He presented the ring.
"Will you marry me?"
Annabeth gaped. Then she beamed.
"Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!" She laughed with joy as Percy swept her into his embrace.
"Well, well, well" said a strange yet familiar voice.
The air crackled as a god teleported out of nowhere. A bulky figure emerged from smoke.
"What Ares?" growled Percy.
" I think I should tell you wh-" Ares told him, right before Percy punched him.
The gods had appeared many times before in this fashion, and Percy had decided by now to try to keep them from forming a habit of it.
" Sorry, what was that?" Percy teased.
" I'm here because I heard you were getting married," Ares growled back.
" Oh sorry," Annabeth said. She gulped.
She knew the penalty for upsetting a god.
" Just don't do it again."
The couple visibly relaxed. They were getting off easy this time.
"But I have a quest for you two," Ares continued.
