There was an odd silence when Frisk awoke. No one was making a noise. Usually, this part would have Froggets croaking silently, or Whismsuns whispering shyly, but nothing. He could hear his ears ring as he went down the corridor that leads to flowey, but he was not there. He decided to check it, asking Character, but she was nowhere. So, he moved on.
In this room, he knew it well, with the red leaves(?) And the large and fancy twin staircases. He called out for toriel.

No answer.
'Whatever', he thought, 'I, uh, guess I'll go to Snowdin? Seams reasonable enough.' He went through the ruins, solved each puzzle ( they were never really hard) and to toriels house. Nothing. No pie, no "hello child." Complete emptiness.
