A/N: I have no idea where this came from but once this particular bunny entered my mind, I just had to write it down. As with almost everything else I write, here is some fluffy slash.

Universe: TF:Animated

Characters: Jazz and Prowl

Disclaimer:I owned Transformers, Prowl would not have died in season four of Animated.

Memory purge assaulted his processor while he laid in recharge. Jazz writhed and thrashed unconsciously about in his berth.

Like the projected images of their computers, the memories delineated the battle in Detroit, the sickening feeling as he helplessly watched Prowl sacrifice himself, the emotions he tried to get control over with his ninja training, then the greying of his friend's chassis ad he held Prowl close in his arms. So crisp and clear as the morning air, it seemed as if it had been yesterday instead of a few dozen orns.

Jazz would be lying to himself if he said he didn't miss the other ninja bot. Jazz would be lying to himself if he said he didn't care deeply for Prowl. Jazz would be lying to himself that he had not thought more than once of pulling his motorcycle into his arms and kissing him passionately.

Even in recharge, when his CPU was suppose to be running at minimal power, the memory purge caused his spark to agonizingly ached behind the sealed chestplates and sparkchamber for his dead friend.

He had not realized it then during their battle against the Decepticons. Now, however, Prowl had come to mean the universe to him. Whenever he had been around Prowl, the very essence of him had become the music to his spark. The music that would reach a crescendo every cycle they spent together, every moment they sparred together, every time they "accidentally" touched each other hands in the hallways of the makeshift Autobot base on Earth.

He just wanted have Prowl in his arms one last time. If for just astrosecond.

Something warm and gentle brushed against his chest armor. It moved to his lips and left a chaste kiss to them.

A familar, comforting presence lulled the montage of memory files to slow ebbing, lapping waves instead of the furious, hellacious tidal waves that crashed into him. The presence engulfed his entire frame, calming Jazz down in process. It spread from his chest to the smallest microcircuits and energon lines in the farthest corners of his body. The presence soon went through the sealed chamber and wrapped itself around his anguished spark. It soothingly sent energy pulses to Jazz's spark, letting him know that everything was alright.

"Prowl." Jazz muttered as he rested his hand on his chest armor. The presence excitedly pulsated next to his spark. It slowly touched his spark. Jazz felt immediate love and affection towards him come from the being. It had to be Prowl.

"Jazz..."It whispered. Then it was gone.
