RACHEL POV
God. He was so handsome. But then again, I was Jake's little sister to him. It could never happen. "God Rachel, tell him!" Nessie said. I shook my head violently. No way, jose. "Hey, everyone, Rachel has something to say!" Nessie called out. Jake, Nessie, Flynn (eep!), Bella, Edward, Dad, and the rest of the Black and Cullen family turned their heads towards me.
"I-I-I-" I stuttered like an idiot."I'm…. dating Seth Clearwater!" Nessie looked astonished. Everyone else smiled. I quickly texted Seth, because I knew he was planning on dropping in to say hi. Luckily, he received the text just as he arrived.
He read it, sighed, looked up and over at me and nodded! Yay! Seth is a lifesaver! Thank god he's a nice person, too. He came to stand by me, and he put his arm around my shoulders. Nessie glared at me, disapprovingly. Jake high-fived Seth. Flynn---- was talking to Leah?! Oh god. Oh god.
He wants to play hard ball? I'll play hard ball! I wrapped my arm around Seth's waist. Suddenly, Nessie grabbed Jake and pulled him aside. When she was done talking to him, he looked pretty mad.
"Hey, let's go over here!" I said to Seth. He looked confused but said ok, and I pulled him inside the house then ran to my room, pulling him along. When I we were safely inside the room, I shut the door and locked it. Then I locked the window and pulled the curtains down.
"Uh, Rache, you do know we're pretending, right?"
"No, stupid! I didn't come in here to make-out with you dumbo! I came in here to hide from Jake!" He looked down. "Aw, crap. Sorry, I yelled. I'm just frustrated and confused. He nodded.
"It's ok. I understand what your going through."
"God. I hardly know Flynn, and I'm completely and utterly in love with him." And for the first time in a while, I sat down on my bed and cried.
