AN: Okay, short one shot on what I think would've happened if Bella had died. I didn't like Rosalie in Breaking Dawn because I think she was only after Renesmee and didn't give a damn about Bella, so this fic may not be for people who like her.
I own Twilight...in my dreams...Stephenie does in reality. Hope you enjoy this, please read and review xoxox

Edward held onto his daughter, not wanting to let her go.
She was the only thing he had left.
His only link to Bella. She had Bella's eyes, Bella's smile...she was like his own mini Bella.
"I can't believe he is being this selfish!" He listened as Rosalie ranted to his family downstairs.
"He has every right to want to be on his own with his daughter." Esme said in his defense.
"So what, she's meant to spend the rest of her life in that room?"
"Rose, he's just lost his wife. Renesmee is the only thing he has left of her. The only one being selfish right now, is you!" Alice snapped in annoyance.
"I get that everyone's upset that Bella died but we have to move on!" Rosalie insisted and Edward clenched his teeth, anger building up inside of him.
"It's easier for you to move on because you didn't care for her. I'm sure you are glad she died, gives you a chance to play mommy!" Alice yelled before Edward heard her footsteps coming up the stairs, heading straight for his bedroom.
"Hello Alice." He said in a dull voice.
"Why do I see you leaving?" Alice asked as she studied the widow holding his sleeping daughter.
"Because I've been planning to ever since Bella died." Edward whispered. "I can't stay here anymore, Bella's everywhere here. Too many memories."
"Then we'll all leave." Alice said almost pleadingly but she knew it was no use.
"I don't want to be anywhere near her!"
"I know that's she a cow bu-"
"You can't here her thoughts." Edward cut her off. "She's was thrilled when she heard Bella's heart stop. I've never heard her thoughts so happy before."
Alice sighed. "There's nothing I can do to change your mind?"
"Nothing."
"Will you visit."
Edward paused. "I'll call. I don't want Rosalie to ever see Renesmee again. She can suffer as much as I am."
Edward got a lot of pleasure from the pain now in Rosalie's thoughts at never seeing the baby she had gotten attatched to. Rosalie would never be in the same level as Bella, Bella would've been a much better mother.
"You taking Jacob?" Alice asked, her thoughts now on the wolf who was in the garage, not able to tear his eyes from the motorcycle that he and Bella had worked on.
"Of course."
"He loves Nessie as much as he ever loved Bella." Alice said softly, smiling down at the little girl who snuggled closer to Edward.
"Renesmee." Edward corrected firmly. "Bella wanted her to be called Renesmee, nothing else."
Alice stared at him. "Are you sure you're going to be okay?"
Edward nodded slowly. "I'll manage, as long as I have my daughter."
"You're leaving tonight."
"It's better that way. The longer I stay, the harder it will be for me to leave." Edward whispered and Alice smiled at him one more time before leaving the room.
"Rose!" Emmett called from downstairs as the front door slammed shut and Edward looked down. His dead heart lifted when he saw Bella's deep brown eyes staring back up at him.
