Hey Guy's this is just some random One Shot I decided to make... don't know if anyone will like it... it's kind of crappy. Read it anyway?
Carlisle wrapped his arms around his knees. "Happy Anniversary to me..." he mumbled. Edward looked on with sorrowed eyes. His mind was probably filling with memory of that day. It filled with memory of the day that Esme left them, the day that she was killed. Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, and Emmet had left them, unable to handle living in the same house that Esme had once been in. But not me, not Edward, we had stayed true to Carlisle. We never saw Renesmee anymore. She had gone off with Jacob. I didn't blame her... she was at total twenty years old now. I thought back to the day we lost Esme. It was the day that our family was torn apart, all because Esme was taken away.
It was like any other day, ten years ago, Carlisle, Esme, Edward, Renesmee, and I had gone hunting. We found a heard of extremely large deer and began to feed. Halfway through my second deer there was a snap behind me. I turned to see someone who I never thought or hoped to see again. Jane.
She smiled wickedly at Esme and before Carlisle had the chance to take to blow Esme was on the ground, screaming in agonising pain. Carlisle shot through the air at Jane. They got into a heated fight. Edward stepped in to help stop it. I stood on the side holding Renesmee impossibly close. Esme rose from the ground and saw that her husband and first son were in trouble. It automatically sent her into defensive mode. I covered Renesmee's ears as Jane let out a threatening snarl. She was more powerful... meaning she had only just fed... Who on..? I still don't know...
The fight went on for another twenty minutes. I stood to the side helpless. My mind was sending out wishes of hope to the werewolves and other members of our family. Renesmee screamed as Edward was crushed into a tree and I flinched. "Hush dear, it'll get better..."
But of course it didn't. Alec appeared behind Jane and attacked Esme. Jane sent spasms through Edwards body so he wouldn't be strong enough to fight her off. I raced up to her but it was too late. A sickening crack went through the air. All heads turned to where Esme's head rolled to the ground. Alec dropped her body and dropped a match on it. The three of us managed to kill Alec and Jane after that... but Carlisle has been heartbroken since.
I watched as Carlisle drew a sharp breath. "I miss you Esme..."
I know it sucks and is the shortest thing you've ever seen but...
