Shinji never understood how Asuka always got whatever she wanted from adults, so one day he decided to ask her.
"It's easy. Just tell them 'I know the truth!, and they'll do anything!" She told him.
Shinji was surprised when he heard this, so he decided to try it out himself. The first person he saw was Dr. Akagi, so he approached her and put on a serious face.
"I know the truth!" he declared, and a shocked look came over her.
"Please, don't tell the commander." she said.
"Then cancel todays' synch tests." Shinji smiled, and Ritsuko agreed.
Quite pleased with the effect, Shinji decided to see just how far he could take this strategy. He strolled into his fathers office, and gladed him in the eye.
"I know the truth!" he shouted. The commander's eyes widened, and he whipped out his checkbook.
"How much will it cost to keep you quiet?"
"How about $10,000?" Shinji grinned devlishly, as the commander signed and handed him the check.
Feeling very proud of himself, Shinji was about to go home, when he saw Sub-Commander Fuyustki, and decided to do one more just for fun.
"I know the truth!" He said, and to his surprise, Fuyutski opened up his arms and gave him a warm smile.
"Well then come over here and give your dad a hug!"
