Note: Okay, I must say something off of my chest right now. April has been a pretty bothersome month for me lately. My brain was all over the place, even outside of writing some chapters, that I get confused every time I write. Doing two stories at once, it was probably a disaster from the get-go.
So, I'm focusing on one story and not two this time, because the week doing this, ended in disaster. I'm sorry for this happening again, but here's to a new start to a new story, and hopefully, things will go good with this story again. Enjoy.
It seems like just yesterday, he was hearing that Chaz and Katie broke up...
But thankfully, the two got back together, and things appear to be alright between the two of them now that they called the whole proposal off. It seems like the two's relationship is totally fine now that Chaz got out of the hospital after he was at Club Candy that Spring Break. So now, things have been pretty much more calmer in the Partying spot of Maine.
Outside of the workplace that he lives in, a boy with spiky blonde hair, a buttoned-down dark blue shirt, black dress pants, and black shoes was walking out of one of the buildings in the downtown area of Simport. He was holding his cell phone to his ear with his shoulder, and heading out to his car. Arriving at his car, he stops when he notices another girl was walking over to him right now. She seemed to be an adult just like him. She has black hair in two ponytails, has a tattoo on her eye area, a purple tank-top with a crescent moon on it, baggy pants with a city design on it, and sandals. She walks up to Travis's car, crossing her arms, looking at him.
"Oh, hey Sandra." Travis said, before turning his phone off. "What brings you over here tonight?"
"I was inviting some of the best people who love to party throughout all of Simport to go to DJ Candy's club for tonight." Sandra describes to him. "It's going to be an endless party from now to the early morning. Since I know you're one who enjoys the partying back in Royal Academy, I was thinking maybe you could bring your dance moves onto the dance floor tonight. What do you say, Travis?" Travis sighed, before looking to his car.
"Damn, sorry Sandra..." Travis mutters, before looking at the girl again. "...But Liberty and I have been married for about an entire year now, and tonight is going to be our anniversary. I promise her that I'd end up bringing her something on the way home, and I already did. Can't disappoint her tonight."
Travis gets into his car, and heads off to go find Liberty at his and her house. Sandra just glares at the car as it was speeding off to go back to the married couple's house. Sandra sighed, before crossing her arms with a glare.
"Why must everyone I end up talking to end up quitting on the parties?" Sandra asked, rather annoyed. "First Rhonda, now him. It's Simport, the town of partying in Maine, not the most boring town in America..." Sandra then pulls out her phone, looking at it. "Damn it...where's Rhonda now?" She asked, before finally walking off to find her other friend.
Once arriving at his house...
Travis pulls his car into the driveway, and turns the car off. He gets out of the car, and then goes to the back seat of it. He opens it up, looking around the gift that he promised Liberty. He looks at his baby's car seat, seeing that it's not there. Then he looks down to the ground below, seeing a box that was right there below the seat. He picks it up nodding.
'That's right. I placed it on the ground since I didn't want it falling off of the chair just in case.' Travis said in his thoughts. 'Man I forget things too easily sometimes.'
So now he exits the back of his car, and heads up to the front door to his house. He pulls his keys out, unlocking the door, and then entering. Looking around, he could hear noises coming from upstairs in the baby's bedroom. He closes the door.
"Liberty, sweetie. I'm home." Travis said, looking at the ceiling above him. "Happy anniversary!"
"Coming down!" Liberty shouts from upstairs.
Coming downstairs, Liberty came downstairs looking for her husband. Liberty has two braids in her hair still, her usually green and yellow beanie, a brown trench coat, a buttoned-down white dress shirt, and black dress pants. She smiled, looking at her husband, who had the gift in his hands. Travis hands it over to her, smiling at her.
"I bought this just before I went to work today, sweetheart." Travis said.
Liberty opens it up, looking to see what was inside of the box. Liberty looks inside to see that there was a picture of a snake, her favorite animal. Liberty smiled, before kissing her husband on his cheek. Liberty looks up at the ceiling.
"You know, Mr Viper would've love this picture..." Liberty said, looking at it. "I wish he was here to see it now." Travis nods, before looking down at the picture in his wife's hands.
"I bet he would've loved it too." Travis said to his wife. He looks up at the ceiling. "How do you think Ralph would've liked him?" Liberty places the picture against the wall, wondering where to place it, before turning back over to her husband again.
"I...don't know, really. Ralph is our son now, and...maybe he would. I mean, maybe he'll like phones too." Travis chuckles a bit.
"Maybe he would too."
"But...he's still a baby now. I feel he might fear him if...he were here now." Liberty looks down feeling a bit saddened for her pet snake, before shaking her head, and smiling weakly a bit. "Well, I guess we'll see to find out what his favorite animal is going to be when he's only a little bit older." Travis nods.
"I'm sure we'll figure it out."
Just then, the door was knocked on. Travis and Liberty looked over to the front door, hearing the knock coming out of nowhere after a couple seconds of silence. Travis raises an eyebrow, wondering who was here at the moment. When he opens the door, he noticed that a girl was standing outside of the house. The girl has blue spiky hair with blue eyes, a blue dress without shoulders, and what appears to be fairy wings on the back of her dress.
"Um...hi, Pinky..." Travis said. "Me and Liberty are...kind of busy with our anniversary if you don't mind. No offense, but it's really much that..."
"Oh...sorry. I was just...wondering about something." Pinky said. "I was hoping to...invite you two over to a...um, double date, as Tim calls it." Travis raises an eyebrow, looking at the girl still, wondering where she was going with this. "I asked my best friend Katie, but she's going to be busy with her dentist job at the moment. Chaz can't, he's got to work at the auto-shop overnight with his dad. So..." Pinky shrugged. "That just leaves you two." Liberty walks over to the front door, seeing Pinky standing there.
"A double date?" Liberty asked. "Why do you want us to..."
"Because...me and Tim are...going to be at this restaurant that was just brought back, because the woman who disappeared in it came back..." Pinky threw her hands down. "It's a long story! Point is, I need a secondary date to come with us because...my parents are going to meet my boyfriend for the first time, and I just need support from somebody that I know." Travis nods, before turning his head to his wife. "Please, you're friends with Chaz, Tim's friends with Chaz, so that means, we kind of know each other."
"No we don't..." Travis said. "But...yeah. I bet we'll help you out with this one."
"Travis." Liberty said, whispering to her boyfriend.
"Well I can't say 'no' to her. She clearly needs help." He whispers back to her. Pinky waves at them, smiling nervously.
"I'm...still here, guys..." Pinky said, weakly. Travis and Liberty quickly turned their heads over to the girl in all blue, seeing her waving at them.
"Right. Sorry." Travis said, before turning towards the girl in blue again. "Don't worry Pinky, we'll meet you at the place that you want us to meet at tomorrow to give you some support." Pinky smiled, nodding at the two of them.
"Thank you guys so much." Pinky hugs both members of the couple separately, before finally walking off to the sidewalk. "Just meet me there tomorrow night, at eight!" Travis gives a thumbs up to Pinky.
"We'll be there!"
"Great!"
Pinky walks off, as Travis closes the door. He and Liberty stood there, nodding at the door silently. Then the two of them turned their heads towards each other, wondering what on Earth they gotten themselves into.
