A/N: This is a weird piece for me; I suppose I fancy myself a philosopher or something somewhere in the back of my mind. I was struck by inspiration while watching The Real Folk Blues Part 2 (courtesy of Ed, this year's BK contest winner, who I will love forever for being an anime fan and putting together an all-anime line-up on adult swim that I thoroughly enjoyed), and I looked back on the series as a whole and thought I would have liked to have seen more of Vicious. The man is something of an enigma. And also psychotic, which may explain my fascination. I'm realizing I have something of an obsession with sociopaths and other deranged or otherwise mentally unstable characters. A cry for help, maybe…?

Disclaimer: If I owned Bebop, there would have been more Vicious.
Angels of Death
(100 words)

He's had a premonition of his death.

But Vicious doesn't mind.

He knows when Spike arrives, and it has nothing to do with the explosion that rocks Headquarters, and everything to do with the shadows gathering around him, hovering…waiting.

But Vicious doesn't mind.

The explosions get closer, the gun fire gets louder, Spike draws nearer. The shadows finally envelop him.

But Vicious doesn't mind.

He feels Spike on the other side of the doors. The shadows cloaking him are vibrating, and he stands to receive infinity.

But Vicious doesn't mind.

Because if Spike is his Angel of Death…he is Spike's.
