Gil Grissom was sat with his friend Jim Brass in the cafeteria of his the high school. Suddenly, Grissom felt a shiver run down his spine and the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. He dropped his sandwich and Jim looked at him.

"You ok Gil?" Jim asked him.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." Gil smiled. "I just had the weirdest feeling, like…like my life just started or something. I feel different."

Jim chuckled. "It's probably just that sandwich, you shouldn't eat from the canteen."
