Snow feel outside of the window, covering the court ground in a blanket of white. The air was frosty, and the entire court seemed to be completely silent. Everyone tucked inside with a fire, with their families, celebrating this day.

Lissa was sat in front of her own fire, a steaming mug of hot chocolate in her hand as she looked out of the window, getting lost in the beauty of the snow falling around, swirling down and covering the grass and pathways. Inside was warm, Lissa was snuggled up in her arm chair with a baggy sweater and a pair of sweatpants.

Sipping her drink, Lissa heard the sound of footsteps on the stairs and smiled to herself as her sister, Jill came into view having looked like she just rolled out of bed, her hair askew and her clothes rumbled from sleep. She had stayed with Lissa the night and the two had talked, about a lot of things and even got along, something Lissa was beyond words happy about. She was glad to have a relationship with her sister, even if it was stiff blurred between them, at least they were speaking civilly about it all.

"Morning,Lissa nodded her greeting as Jill came to sit down on the arm chair across from her, eyes on the view outside, full of excitement. She grinned at that. 鏑ike the snow?

Jill nodded in response and turned back to her, eyes flitting about uncertainly. The room was daunting, even Lissa herself would look around and be amazed by the sheer size and design of it. Elegantly modern, white walls with gold running over the edges of the skirting, modern furniture strewn about the room in an open way, making it look a lot more spacious. An old fire place in the middle of the far wall, where Lissa sat curled up, roaring and warming the entire place. It was grand and yet simple. Fitting for a Queen but not overly intimidating. Well, it wasn't supposed to be, many were still intimidated by it.

"I was going to wait, but I really want you to have stood, going over to the window and crouching down to the stack of boxes sitting under the tree, all wrapped with shiny wrapping paper and topped with a bow. She picked the one out for Jill, the largest one there and handed it to her.

"Merry Christmas, waited with bated breath as her sister carefully unwrapped the paper and untied the bow, her eyes widening as she saw what lay beneath.

"They said it was the best one, newest model too...Lissa bit her lip as Jill took out the box. Inside a sewing machine sat, waiting to be used, waiting to help Jill create. Lissa had stuck in some books and magazines for her to use for her designs too and under the tree was enough thread and material to make a whole collection. She may have gone overboard.

"Lissa...this is...Jill said, her eyes still on that box. Still wide.

"If you don't like it was can take it back, I could just give you some money or-What happened next made Lissa go completely still with surprise.

Jill had sat the box down and as Lissa spoke she had stood and walked over to her, wrapping her arms around her in a warm, friendly, sisterly hug. Lissa smiled as the shock wore off and wrapped her arms back around the girl who now murmured her thanks.

Perhaps it was true what they said, miracles really do happen on Christmas.
