When You're Gone
Ichigo sat under the tree in the park, thinking about how Masaya broke up with her a few days ago. 'Why?' she had thought. She cried at first, refusing to come out of her room. She felt alone, like nobody cared for her, like she was ugly…especially when she saw him with that dumb blonde girl in her class. But as she was thinking under that tree, she remembered a certain someone who had cared for her cause of who she was.
I always need a time on my own;
I never thought I'd need you there when I cry.
Yes, Kisshu had always been there for her. It had been almost two years since they had fought Deep Blue. Ichigo had been happy that Kisshu had gone home. By now, their planet was definitely as green as theirs, if not greener. When he left though, it seemed as he had taken part of her heart with him. That was finally showing now that she didn't have Masaya anymore.
And the days feel like years when I'm alone
And the bed where you lie is made up on your side.
It was finally clear to her. Kisshu had loved her. It had been in front of her this whole time, and she decided to be selfish and take Masaya. Ichigo's heart started to ache. 'Had this been how he felt?' she wondered. Then she thought something else; did he still love her? She let her tears slide down her face onto the green grass below. She was positive of how she felt now.
When you walk away, I count the steps that you take.

She misses Kisshu, the one who truly loved her, and she missed her chance.
When you're gone, the pieces of my heart are missing you.
When you're gone, the face I came to know is missing too.
When you're gone, the words I need to hear to always get me through the day,
And make it ok,
I miss you.
