It's hard to believe we live in a world so full of hate. A world where murder is common and guilt is over looked. A world where anything is possible as long as you have a wallet big enough to carry it all. Basically, a world without any set laws.
I myself personally hate these little rich punks we get in the lab, but who am I to judge.
I stood motionless staring at the lifeless body that lay in front of me. "Kids are always the hardest" I shook my head at Nick and looked away. He was no older than 9 maybe 10, certainly not old enough for whatever he was into. "Greg will
you please focus?" Nick urged without thinking. My mind wondered back to my first case as an actual CSI.
"This is 2000 all over again isn't it Nick?" I asked emotionless. Nick knew what I was talking about, but didn't answer. No one answered those questions. On September 24th 2000, the body of a 14 year old boy was found in a parking
garage. Alex Matthews' body was severely dismembered and his arms and legs were nowhere to be found.
"Greg…" Nick began but I quickly cut him off with a wave of my hand. "Not now" I hissed walking to where the little boy's body had been found. "Legs missing, arms missing...all we need is the sticker" I reminded Nick cautiously. The
Severus killer's trade mark was leaving a small sticker that would lead us to the next victim, along with taking the arms and legs as a souvenir. I walked around the body in circles.
"Greg sticker over here!" Nick yelled frantically, attempting to get my attention. The sticker was isolated and covered in blood. "9th Floor" I repeated reading the small words on the front side. "What's that mean?" I asked slightly
confused. As I scrambled my brain looking for clues I couldn't help but notice the small wire than ran from the sidewalk to the barbershop across the street.
"Get Brass over here now and block the streets" I yelled running to the car. "Don't touch those wires!" I demanded hoping he would follow them with caution. "Greg?" He stood there scratching his head. "I'll be back" I assured him. I
knew I had to handle this myself; I just didn't want to face it alone.
