Hello!!

This is a little bit of massively depressing tiva drabble based off of the season finale... Don't read if you haven't seen Aliyah! or you can, but you've been warned :P

Hold On

She couldn't see. Her arms were bound. She could feel the sticky blood running down her face. She heard no noise, felt no light on her exposed skin. Her mouth was dry, her throat was sore. Her body ached, her muscles clenched in pain.

He hit her again. And again.

She wanted to scream, wanted to fight. She tried to move, but couldn't get away. She had to escape. She had to survive.

He wanted to know something. He thought she would answer.

Her arm was broken, her eye swollen shut. Her ankles and wrists burnt red from the rope.

She drifted in and out. Her mind wondered, unable to focus. The pain was terrible. The fear was worse.

---

He laid awake, thinking about her. Her face, her hair, her smile, and those damn jeans she teased him with. She was fascinating and deadly. She was unlike anyone else.

She had been there when he hurt. She helped make the pain go away. She was the gravity that held him down.

He couldn't sleep. He couldn't think. His mind wondered, remembered, fantasized.

He wanted to call.

The clock ticked too slowly. Every second passed was one not with her.

Her desk tormented him. He still stared. He had always been a masochist.

Her absence was present in everything he did. The lack of her voice was deafening to his ears.

He would never admit he cried. Like a little child, he curled up with his pillow, wishing with everything he had that she would come back. As if it would do any good.

He held on as tight as he could.

---

She could feel it. The pain got worse every day. She had lost too much blood. She held out too long.

Her mind made up for what her body lacked. She didn't speak. She never told.

She finally broke down. Slow tears escaped her eyes. It was as close to freedom as she would get.

She fell to the darkness. It enveloped her in its arms. It held her tight as she drifted away.

{end}
