Dan: Bakugan! One goal, two worlds!
Opening
What are ya gonna do?
(Dan enters into battle with the field appearing behind him)
The odds are stacked against you,
(Dan and Masquerade activate their cards to begin battle)
(Two unknown Brawler launch their Bakugan against each other)
Back against the wall,
(Two unknown Bakugan appear fighting)
You gotta give it your all,
(The unknown brawler appeared with his dragon-like Bakugan behind him)
This is the final stand,
(Multiple sense of different Bakugan appear)
The powers in your hand!
(Dan throws a Gate Card)
Two worlds collide on the inside,
(A white dragon reaches for to Cores)
(Vestroia gets affected by Naga's action)
You got to fight for what's right,
(Dan and the unknown Brawler raise Ability Cards before they start glowing)

This is Bakugan!
(Dan and the unknown Brawler prepare for battle while Marucho and Runo were standing behind them)
(Dan returns a Bakugan with a smirk)
(The title appears)
Opening Ends
A boy was loading some boxes into a van. He had spikey messy silver hair and red eyes. He dresses casually in a loose grey tank-top and black jeans. On his left arm, he wears a long, black fingerless glove which goes up to his shoulder. He wiped the sweat from his forehead.
Boy: That was the last one. Sigh... finally done.
The boy wiped the sweat from his forehead as an older man came out of the house behind him. The man looked like an older version of the boy.
Man: Are you done with loading your stuff into the van?
Boy: All done, dad.
Dad: Well, then we better get going if we want to arrive at our new home. Also, I'm sorry that you have to leave this city and…
Boy: Don't worry, I'm not mad or sad. Actually, I'm excited to see what will happen and who I will meet in the new city.
Dad: I should have already known would say something like this, Zane.
The boy who was called Zane replied with a smirk.
Dad: You did at least say goodbye to your friends?
Zane: Of course.
Dad: I guess that means we're ready to go. Why don't you take a nap in the back of the van?
Zane: Sounds good.
Zane made his way into the back of the van. There he laid his Bakugans next to him and closed the eyes in order to get some sleep.
Dreaming
Zane was walking through a dark dimension where it was quiet and … dark. As he walked through this wasteland, he could see old status of Bakugans.
Zane: Alright this dream is kind of creepy but let's see what else happens.
Even in this dark dimension, Zane remained optimistic and curious. As he continued walking, he noticed a ball of light appear before it rose into the sky. But it wasn't the only one that rose up. Shortly after the first one, many others did.
Zane: What a nice light show.
Zane noticed that the balls of light seemed to be coming from the Bakugan from the status. As the lights flew towards the sky they began to merge together, creating one big ball of energy. After all of them merged together, something new was born.
A shadow of a dragon appeared out of the energy of the balls. The being roared before it flew up to something that looks like a portal. The dragon made its way out of the dark dimension, to head somewhere Zane couldn't see.
Zane: What was that? Was that also a Bakugan?
Meanwhile, in an unknown space…
A loud roar was heard before a white dragon was revealed who was trapped inside smoothing resembling a core. It seemed like he gave a small core of energy, resembling the one he was captured in, to a small figure which appeared to be human.
Human: At last! The power of the Silent Orb! Now, we came a step closer to our goal! HA HA HA HA HA HA!
Earth
Zane: That was a strange dream.
The door next to Zane opened up.
Dad: Oh, you're already awake! Good, we're here.
Zane: Already?
Dad: You slept for five hours.
Zane: Oh, really?
Dad: How about you look around the city and have a Bakugan Battle. I can carry our stuff into our new home and since we have to set up the shop tomorrow, I thought I'd let you have some fun for the rest of the day.
Zane: Sounds good! See ya later!
Zane took his Bakugan and Cards before he walked into the city. He wandered around the city until he came across a park. As he walked into the park, he saw two kids. On was a short kid with a hat and red hair, the other was a large kid with a brown vest and black hair.
Zane: Hey you two. Can you tell me where I find some Bakugan Players?
Big Boy: Do you want to insult me?
Zane: Why would you think that?
Big Boy: Because I'm the best Bakugan Player around! Right, Akria?
Akira: Yea, my Big Bro Shuji is the best!
Zane: I'm new around here but I doubt that. After all dogs, that bark don't bite.
Shuji: I guess I have to teach you the hard way!
Akira: Teach him a lesson, Shuji!
Shuji cracked his knuckles at those words, but Zane was standing there just smirking. The self-sure expression on Zane's face only made Shuji angrier than he already was.
But just as Shuji and Zane were about to battle, someone else interfered with the argument, someone Zane heard about online.
Boy in Red: Back off, Shuji!
The three boys turned to the boy in red. There they saw Dan standing with a smile on his face. His Partner, Drago, was sitting on his left shoulder when the Pyrus Brawler appeared.
Shuji: What? Dan! This is none of your business! Get lost!
The Battle Brawler ignores Shuji's demand and began to talk to Zane.
Dan: Hey kid! What's going on here?
Zane: You're Dan Kuso. I read about you on the internet.
Dan: So? You need any help?
Zane: Thanks, but I think I can handle that loudmouth on my own.
Shuji: I'm gone make you pay for calling me a loud mouth!
Dan: Would you mind if I watch?
Zane: Be my guest.
With those words, the four Brawlers pulled out their cards to activate the field.
Dan, Zane, Shuji, and Akria: Field Open!
The time around them began to stop while the four of them were transported onto the battlefield.
Zane vs Shuji
Zane and Shuji both pulled out a Gate Card.
Zane & Shuji: Gate Card, set!
The two Gate Cards flew past each other before they each landed on the field. As they touched the ground their size increase by a large amount so that the Bakugan Battle could begin.
R01
Shuji: I'll star! Bakugan, brawl!
The large Brawler threw out a brown Bakugan on his Gate Card, before calling.
Shuji: Bakugan, stand!
The Bakugan that Shuji threw into the battle was a Subterra Mantris, which is a mantis-like Bakugan. Zane checked his Baku-Pod to see how strong it is.
Baku-Pod: Opponent Subterra Mantris, 270G
Zane: Hmm not bad, but I got just the Bakugan to beat it. Bakugan, brawl! Bakugan, stand!
The Bakugan rolled onto the same card as Shuji's Mantris. When the ball touched the card it revealed itself as a Darkus Centipoid which is a centipede-like Bakugan.
Baku-Pod: Bakugan Recognized, Darkus Centipoid, 330G
Dan: So you are a Darkus user?
Zane: Seems like it.
Shuji: I don't care what attribute you use! I will crush you either way! Gate Card open!
The Gate Card set by Shuji was a Subterra Reactor Gate Card, which boosts the power of all Subterra Bakugan.
Baku-Pod: Adjusting Power Level. Mantris' Power Level increase to 370G
Dan: Oh no! Shuji is in the lead now!
Zane: He won't be after I activate my Ability Card Grand Down!
Using the Ability Card Zane played he negated the Gate Card of Shuji which decrease the Power Level of Mantris to his original Level.
Baku-Pod: Adjusting Power Level. Mantris' Power Level decrease to 270G
Dan: Sweet! That Ability Card tip the odds in Zane's favor!
Zane: Go Centipoid! Finish of his Mantris!
Centipoid shot forward and slammed his head into Mantris sending him flying backward, turning him into a ball again. Akira looked shocked that his brother's Bakugan lost and Dan was happy about Zane's victory. While Dan cheered
Shuji: What!? How can this be!?
Shuji: 2 Bakugan
Zane: You have a big mouth but no skills.
Shuji: You're gonna pay!
R02
Akira: Big Bro, get your game together!
Shuji: Don't worry! He just got lucky! Next time I win for sure!
Zane: You know you shouldn't lie to your younger brother.
Shuji: It isn't a lie if I make it reality! Bakugan brawl! Bakugan stand!
Shuji getting more and angrier about the way Zane talks to him, Shuji threw out another Bakugan on the Gate Card of Zane. The Bakugan revealed itself to be a Subterra Saurus, a humanoid Styracosaurus-like Bakugan with gladiator-like armor.
Baku-Pod: Opponent Subterra Saurus, 290G
Zane: This will be easy! Gate Card set!
Zane said throwing a new Gate Card next to the Card Shuji's Saurus was standing on.
Zane: Bakugan brawl! Bakugan stand!
Zane threw in Centipoid again. The ball of Centipoid landed on the Gate Card on which no other Bakugan was standing.
Baku-Pod: Bakugan Recognized, Darkus Centipoid, 330G
Shuji: Are you too scared to face me?
Zane: Scared of you? As if.
R03
Shuji: If you don't want to come to me I just have to come to you! Bakugan brawl! Bakugan stand!
Shuji threw his third and last Bakugan onto the Gate Card on which Centipoid was standing. The last Subterra Bakugan of Shuji was a Subterra Terrorclaw which is a large crab-like Bakugan.
Shuji: Ability Card activate! Terror Claw!
The Ability Card of Shuji boosted the Power Level of his Terrorclaw by 80 points.
Baku-Pod: Adjusting Power Level. Terrorclaw's Power Level increase to 380G
Shuji: Now it's time for your Bakugan to leave the field!
Zane: I don't think so! Gate Card open! Intercept!
The Gate Card created a wall of energy which prevented the Bakugan from fighting.
Shuji: Come and face me already!
Zane: Why should I if I don't have to?
Dan: What is his plan, any ideas Drago?
Drago: I don't know, he keeps his Bakugan from fighting so he must have some sort of plan.
Zane: Time for the finale! Gate Card set!
The Brawler threw another Gate Card on the bottom side of the card where Centipoid and Terrorclaw where standing.
Zane: Bakugan brawl! Bakugan stand!
Zane threw another black Bakugan. It landed onto the Gate Card he just threw and was revealed to be a Darkus Mantris.
Baku-Pod: Bakugan Recognized, Darkus Mantris, 290G
Shuji: Come on fight me you, coward.
Zane: Time for your Terrorclaw to become a little puppet of mine! Ability Card activate! Marionette!
Out of Matirs claws shot out some violet energy ropes which warped around Terrorclaw.
Zane: Terrorclaw go to the same card as your teammate Saurs!
Dan: Why would you do that?
Zane: You understand as soon as my Gate Card activates.
While Zane smirked at Dan Terrorclaw got thrown over to the card where Saurus was standing on.
Zane: Now, Gate Card open! Mind Ghost!
Drago: When two Bakugans stand on a Mind Ghost card, then they both get defeated!
Dan: And Shuji only has these two left!
Shuji: Oh no!
Shuji was in total shock as he watched the Gate Card explode taking out both his Saurus and Terrorclaw at the same time.
Shuji: 0 Bakugan
WIN: Zane
Zane: That's game!
Zane salutes with two fingers.
Dan: Nice one!
Shuji: This can't be!
Shuji said falling onto his knees as is brother ran to his side.
Akira: How can you lose to that guy?
Shuji: He just got lucky!
Zane: No, I wasn't. I had something called strategy.
Shuji: Don't be so arrogant! Next time I will make you pay!
Shuji who didn't want to listen to Zane anymore started to run away with Akira following him, leaving Zane with Dan.
Dan: You're pretty good. But I never saw you around until today.
Zane: I just moved here today.
Dan: Oh, the welcome to the hood.
Zane: Thanks, but do you think about a welcoming battle?
Dan: Sorry, but I only got Drago with me at the moment. Sorry.
Zane: A shame. How about next time?
Dan: Count on it.
Afterward, Dan left the Park while Zane laid down in the grass hoping that another Brawler would show up.
Zane: I think I take another nap if there isn't another brawler.
Later
While Zane was laying in the grass a bright light blinded him suddenly.
Zane: What the!?
Zane jumped onto his feet while the light began to surround him, and he shielded his eyes to prevent himself from being blinded. As it died down purple sparkles of light showered down like snow. Zane looked around to find out what could have caused the light show.
As he looked down, Zane saw an unknown Bakugan at his feet. This caused Zane to pick it up from the ground and inspecting the Bakugan curious what kind it is.
Zane: A Bakugan? I've never seen one like this before.
While Zane inspected the Bakugan, it opened up, surprising him. As Zane was about to examine the Bakugan further the Bakugan began to speak.
Bakugan: Where am I?
Zane: … Planet Earth.
The Bakugan lowered his head and let out a disappointed noise.
Bakugan: Not Vestroia, then?
Zane: Vestroia?
Bakugan: Forget what I just said!
Zane: Then how about giving me your name?
Bakugan: My name is Leonidas.
The Bakugan Leonidas introduced himself, with bit hostile undertone in his voice but at the same time, he had the feeling that this Bakugan wasn't really evil. As a result, Zane made an offer which should change the lives of him and Leonidas forever.
Zane: Hey, wane team up with me. I bet we can beat anyone!
Zane didn't know why but he felt like he was already connected to the Bakugan and was now determined to make him his partner, on the way to the top. Leonidas could feel the determination of the boy.
Leonidas: You mean if I battle with you, I'll have the chance to beat the other Bakugan?
Zane: Of course. I'm aiming for the top after all. So, what do you say?
The Bakugan thought for a short while waging out his options.
Leonidas: Hm… I sense that in this world I can only release my true power in these Bakugan Battles.
Zane: So, this means we're partners now, right?
It looked at Zane and spoke the words which let the two of them embark on a great adventure together.
Leonidas: That's exactly what I mean, kid. I accept your offer!
Zane: It's nice to meet ya, partner. By the way call me Zane not kid, alright?
Leonidas: Zane… a nice name, for a human.
Zane: Thanks, I guess.
Leonidas: So, when can I battle?
Zane could feel how the hunger for a challenge in Leonidas, just like he himself hungers for one.
Zane: I don't know. I was waiting for another Brawler to show up.
Leonidas: I'm anxious to fight!
Just as the two of them began to talk to get to know each other better a familiar voice could be heard.
Familiar Voice: Ah, I found ya!
Zane turned to the voice to find the little brother of the Brawler who he defeated earlier.
Zane: Oh, you're the brother of that other Brawler. Isn't your brother with you?
Akira: Obviously not! I'm here to challenge you to a Brawl! I won't let my brother defeat you before me!
Zane: You have the perfect timing! I hoped to test out a new Bakugan.
Leonidas: Good that means I'll finally get to fight another Bakugan!
Surprised by the talking Bakugan Akira took a step backward.
Akira: You also have a talking Bakugan like Dan?
Zane: Expect I started to hear things, I would say yes.
Akira: So, what if it talks, I'm just going to defeat it!
Leonidas: What an insult! I would never lose to a pathetic human like him!
The two Brawlers pulled out their Field Cards so that they could start their battle.
Akira: You're going down!
Zane: Dream on!
Zane & Akira: Bakugan! Field Open!
Upon shouting that their respect cards began to glow and time around the two brawlers began to stop.
Zane vs Akira
With the Field opened up both of them pulled out the Gate Card so that they can use them.
Sora & Akira: Gate Card set!
The two Gate Cards flew past each other before they each landed on the field. As they touched the ground their size increase by a large amount so that the Bakugan Battle could begin.
R01
Akira: I show you just how strong I am! Bakugan brawl! Saurus, stand!
The young Brawler threw out a Subterra version of a humanoid Styracosaurus-like Bakugan with gladiator-like armor onto his Gate Card.
Baku-Pod: Bakugan detected. Subterra Saurus, 280G
Zane: Wanna take that on?
Leonidas: Do you really need to ask? Let's battle!
Leonidas turned back into a ball, allowing Zane to use him in the battle. Zane threw the Darkus Bakugan onto the same Card as Saurus was standing.
Zane: Bakugan brawl! Leonidas stand!
As soon as Leonidas landed on the Gate Card Saurus was standing on, a large dragon appeared. Both Zane and Akira watched at Leonidas as he roared as he entered the battle, while Akira was shocked Zane realized that Leonidas looked like the figure that appeared in his dream.
Baku-Pod: Bakugan detected. Darkus Leonidas, 400G
Akira: 4… 400G!? How can a Bakugan be that strong?!
Zane: Wow. That's some power you have there.
Leonidas: Just wait until you see me battle!
Akira shook his head regaining his composure after seeing how powerful Leonidas was.
Akira: Dame it! I refuse to lose! Gate Card open!
The Gate Card Akira activated was a Subterra Reactor which gave Saurus a power boost.
Baku-Pod: Saurus' Power Level increase by 100. Power Level increases to 380G
Akira: No, even with the boost it's not enough!
Zane: How about you finish him off, Leonidas?
Leonidas: My pleasure!
Leonidas flew towards Saurus and hit him with a barrage of hits, before delivering an uppercut to his chin sending the Bakugan backward as it turned back into a ball. Leonidas did the same but unlike Saurus, he returned into the hand of Zane.
At seeing this Akira was shocked by how quick Leonidas defeated his Saurus.
Akira: 2 Bakugan
Zane: Nice one.
Leonidas: What did you expect! I told you that I'd release my true power in these battles! Let's fight again!
R02
Akira: I won't lose to you even if you have this Bakugan! Gate Card set! Bakugan brawl! Serpenoid, stand!
The Bakugan that Akira used this time was a snake/serpent-like Bakugan which like his last one had brown skin, indicating that it belonged to the Subterra type.
Baku-Pod: Bakugan detected. Subterra Serpenoid, 300G
Leonidas floated to his human partner to requesting to fight once again.
Leonidas: Let me fight again!
Zane: Alright, go get them! Bakugan brawl! Leonidas stand!
Once again, the dark dragon Bakugan appeared on the Battlefield with a roar. Akira took a step back at the sight of Leonidas
Baku-Pod: Bakugan detected. Darkus Leonidas, 400G
Akira: I'm going to defeat you Bakugan this time! Ability Card activate! Power Switch!
Through the effect of the Ability Card, the Power Level of the two Bakugan switched.
Baku-Pod: Adjusting Power Level. Leonidas at 300G. Saurus at 400G.
Akira: How do you like this?
Serponoid warped itself around Leonidas trying to squeeze Leonidas.
Zane: That won't be enough! Gate Card open!"
The Gate Card revealed itself to be a Darkus Reactor which increased the Power Level of all Darkus Bakugan by 120.
Baku-Pod: Leonidas' Power Level increase by 120. Power Level increases to 420G
Leonidas broke out of the grip of Serponide before hitting it with his tail making it return to his ball form.
Akira: 1 Bakugan
Akira: No! Not again!
Leonidas once again returned into the hand of his partner.
R03
Akira: I won't lose until I at least defeated one of your Bakugan! Bakugan brawl! Centipoid, stand!
The final Bakugan of the young Subterra Brawler was a centipede-like Bakugan which landed on the only Gate Card on the field.
Baku-Pod: Bakugan detected. Subterra Centipoid, 320G
Zane: Up for another round or are you tired?
Leonidas: Don't insult me! I'm not even warmed up from fighting these weaklings!
Zane: Then I leave it to you! Bakugan brawl! Leonidas, stand!
Once again, the dark dragon Bakugan appeared on the Battlefield with a roar. Akira took a step back at the sight of Leonidas
Leonidas appeared for a third time on the field.
Baku-Pod: Bakugan detected. Darkus Leonidas, 400G
Akira: This time for sure! Gate Card open! Subterra Revival!
Through the Gate Card Akria was allowed to revive one of his defeated Bakugan and let it participate in the battle!
Akira: Time for your Revenge Serponoid!
Baku-Pod: Bakugan detected. Subterra Serpenoid entering the battle at 300G. The combined Power Level of Serpenoid and Centipoid is 620G
Akira: Ha ha ha, time for your Bakugan to lose!
Zane: Ability Card activate! Spiced Assault!
Spiced Assault is an Ability Card for Darkus Bakugan that add 100G to the users Darkus Bakugan and subtracts 100G from each opponent.
Baku-Pod: Adjusting Power Level. Leonidas Power Level increase to 500G. Serpenoid Power Level decrease to 200G. Centipoid Power Level decrease to 220G. The combined Power Level of Serpenoid and Centipoid is 420G.
Akira: No, no, no! I don't want to lose!
As soon as the Ability Card changed their Power Levels Leonidas began his assault on the two Subterra Bakugan. First, he began to repeatedly punch Serpenoid until it reverts to his ball form while using his tail to keep Centipoid at a distance. After the first one was finished, he focused on Centipoid, which he grabbed it at the end of its tail and slammed into the ground.
Akira: 0 Bakugan
WIN: Zane
With the battle over, time returned to its original speed. While the birds over them began to flow again, Akira has fallen to his knees looking at the ground.
Akira: No way! He used just one Bakugan… just one! This can´t be true! Yes, he must have been lucky and that's all!
Standing up, Akria ran off, angered by his complete loss.
Akira: You will regret this, someday!
These words Akira shouted before he left the park. Zane watched after him knowing deep down how he felt. But before long his focus drifted back to the Bakugan in his hand.
Zane: You're pretty strong. I think we two will make a great team!
Leonidas: Looking at the opponent we just faced I must say that I'm happy to be partnered up with a skilled human.
Zane: Thanks.
Leonidas: So, when do we battle again?
Zane: I don't think we will have another brawl today. It's getting late and I should return home.
Leonidas: Hmph… Then I go to sleep now.
With those words, Leonidas closed himself and Zane began to make his way back home.
