Thoughts of change
Provenza didn't know when he started to think of Sharon Raydor as a woman instead of the Ice Witch that had made everyone's life miserable. But looking at her now all he could think about is pushing the blasted woman against the wall and kissing her until all the troubles between them drifted away. The way he bit her lip when they were talking about Daniel, the look in her eyes when Rusty accused her of wanting him gone, everything about her called to him in ways that no other woman had ever done before. Sometimes when their eyes met Provenza thought that Raydor felt the same as he did but he was afraid of trying to find out for sure. The fear of the trouble that they would get into paled before the fear that she would not feel the same. So every day he comes into work and watches the woman of his dreams knowing that there is very little chance that he will ever follow through on his thoughts.
